We enjoyed our stay. We enjoyed the outdoors, the pool, and fishing. It was a great experience. We made wonderful memories.

Amazing experience, the cabin owners lives nearby, and he was so generous to take us in a trip on his 500 acres farm! he even was more generous by offering some deer meat, and last, he gave us one more gift, a book with my name on it! The pool is shared between three different cabins. Overall, unforgettable!

Cabin 1 is great for 2 people. Its in a great area with a huge dog park and friendly guests. We have stayed here 3 times now. Its conveniently located near our family.

My group of 9 people had a great time staying here. The location was beautiful and the house was comfortable.

Beautiful home and a peaceful location right on the water. The house was very clean and had everything that anyone might need. It did rain during most of our visit but we used the dock to fish and still enjoyed every minute of our trip. Thank you to the hosts whom replied right away with our questions. Look forward to booking the house in the future.

To be honest, we were kinda skeptical about this place when booked. But it was beyond our expectations. Away from all the hassles of the city. It was a peaceful weekend. The kids woke up hearing the rooster crowing. And we could see the geese swimming in a pond nearby from our bedroom window. They had fun feeding the baby goats!! the house was very neat. Looked Brand new. The host was very helpful to meet our needs. We enjoyed our stay and recommend this to our friends. There was a barbecue area with a firepit which we did not get a chance to try. It should be good in the winter.

Our family rented for 5 days and had the a wonderful vacation. The property had horses, donkeys and peacocks which we really enjoyed. The home is private and very clean and we couldn’t have asked for more. We are going to stay again next time we’re in the area.

The cabin was lovely. The interior of the cabin was beautiful. The hot tub was so relaxing.

My husband and I rented this cabin for 3 Days 2 nights anniversary stay. We really enjoyed the seclusion of not being super close to Neighbors, surrounded by trees and nature. It was very peaceful and Serene. The cabin had many amenities to keep us entertained while having romantic evenings. We loved the vaulted ceilings, the large porches, the hot tub, the porch swing was one of my favorite places to sit, and we loved the large two shower head shower. It was also cool that there was trails to the pond and other games to play in the coffee table. We had such a good time there and would recommend this cabin for any reason to go stay there. We hope to return in the future!

Wow! What a blessing to own this home. There was everything and anything that you could ever need and more!!! Such a good feeling to drive 6 hr for your sons graduation and not have to worry about anything and just enjoy family time and be comfortable. Plenty of everything! I would give it a 10 star if I could. The one and only bad thing is the having to leave ha! Thank you for sharing your home on such a special time of our lives! Will keep this memory forever <3

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay! The place is beautiful, you can watch the sunrise over the lake while sipping your morning coffee. The house was well cared for and well stocked - I felt very welcome, it’s really obvious from how the place is set up that the hosts take pride in ensuring you have a great stay. Our family spent a long weekend at Alex’s place for the 2024 eclipse. The house was very comfortable and worked well for us and our preschooler. The area is nice and quiet. The foosball table, ping pong table, and other games were a really fun perk. All the TVs were Roku TVs, which made it really easy to stream everything. Host was very helpful and responsive. Definitely recommend.

We have stayed with Kathleen before, and it is always a great experience! We enjoy the privacy and the access to the pond. Our family has made many great memories here. We lost our daughter 2 weeks ago, and I wanted this to be the place we came after her memorial. It was one of the last places we were together as a family. Kathleen made sure to accommodate us and was so thoughtful. I will definitely be back again. It's becoming our home away from home when we visit our family in Dallas. Thank you Kathleen!

We had a great time! there was a little hiccup with check in because it wasn't specified the cabin number but I believe on my original listing it stated the cabin number and when I tried the code it worked. Everything was exactly as pictured. I It came with a full size bed and a small pull out couch, I thought it may have said a queen size, but it worked for what we needed. The location was beautiful and peaceful and quiet. Less than a mile to the lake and not far from any stores or restaurants. We would definitely stay here again!

This cute little house was great. Felt homey, was affordable, roomy, and loved the big open backyard. Be aware there is no fence! But trained dogs should have no issue. Lovely place with all the amenities. Super comfortable!

The place is absolutely beautiful, quiet and secluded perfect for family reunions and family family vacation. It has that country feel. My family really enjoyed their stay.

We had a great stay at Kathleen’s place! It was super clean, cozy, and had everything we needed for a relaxing weekend. The location was perfect—just a quick 7-minute drive to The Pearl at Sabine Creek, where we were for a wedding. The space was just right for the two of us, and we really appreciated the strong water pressure and nice hot showers. Kathleen was a fantastic host, and we’d definitely love to come back and try one of the bigger cabins next time. Highly recommend!
