Louise was so sweet and her home is a little gem with the BEST bathtub EVER in the bedroom. Such a cool place and very roomie for a couple. Beautiful decor! Love the interior design touches mixing the old stone with more modern elements. The only negative was finding parking. Luckily we found a little spot all the way down the hill in front of the school….but this is Lake Como so we’re used to hiking up the hill!:) Just an FYI for anyone with mobility issues. We loved our stay and especially loved our meals out on the deck and also enjoyed Villa Lario built into the cliff just below. Fun experience:) We’d love to return sometime!

A great, cozy apartment with everything you need to feel comfortable quickly. It is very cozy, you look into the countryside, the stream rushes. Our two teenagers were also thrilled. Fabrizio is a very warm and open host with tips and good information. From our point of view, almost an insider tip if you are looking for nature and yet want to quickly go shopping by bus or stroll through Locarno.

Super easy to reach, super clean, super location, super nice and super fast felt at home. Our little dog Tari was also thrilled and welcome. We will be happy to come back anytime.

Very dear hosts, we felt very welcome and very comfortable from the first moment. Inside and outside, it is very comfortable and lovingly furnished, we lacked nothing. Great that it also has two bikes. We loved it, also the location, perfect for various excursions or just sitting in the garden under the pergola and relaxing. We will be happy to come back. Well equipped place and very friendly hosts.

This home is in an outstanding location overlooking the lake and Lugano. We were blown away by the view from every window. The location was very peaceful, and the home was extremely well-stocked. We enjoyed coffee on the balcony or the covered deck every day (depending on how hot it was!). The home is located a quick drive to downtown Lugano, and a short drive to the top of Monte Bre (highly recommend!) and to Gandria (also highly recommend). We fell in love with Lugano and the surrounding area thanks in part to this house…we will definitely be back.

Our stay at Carolina's Rustico was beautiful! The cottage was very clean and cozy, and communication with Carolina went smoothly at all times. If you're looking for a break from everyday life, Mergoscia is the place to be. The village is secluded – about 20 minutes drive separate one from “civilization” – but that's what makes the charm of this place. Nature is breathtaking, the views spectacular: right from the house you can see the famous 007 dam. A highlight in itself is also the bus ride to Locarno – a little thrill adventure that you won't forget. You inevitably wonder if the bus drivers have a pilot license. The people in the village are incredibly friendly, which made the stay even more pleasant. We will be happy to come back!

We had the pleasure of spending a few unforgettable days at Katie’s beautiful apartment in Ronco sopra Ascona. The view is absolutely breathtaking – Lake Maggiore stretches out at your feet, with Ascona and the Brissago Island in full view, framed by the surrounding mountains. The long hours of sunshine on the spacious terrace were a true highlight. The apartment is nice furnished, very well maintained, and offers plenty of space with its three bedrooms – ideal for families or small groups. Everything was clean and perfectly prepared – you can tell Katie is a thoughtful and caring host. The location is peaceful, yet just a short drive from Ascona and the lake. The combination of privacy, stunning views, and comfort makes this place a real gem. We’d love to come back – thank you, Katie!

Stefano has been a great host. He was always available to help me and offer suggestions. His apartment is very nice, well equipped and in a very attactive, historical secion of Ascona. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there. Thanks Stefano!

If I could give more than 5 stars I would!! The views are out of this world and the place is spacious, beautiful, and quiet. I will most definitely be coming back. 100% I would highly recommend staying here if you are going to Lake Como. Renting a car is advised, we rented one in Milan and drove.

This place was perfect for our family. Lots of great places to explore nearby and close to a grocery store. Clean, small, utilitarian. A lovely outside area overlooking the town and the lake to eat your meals and just relax.

My vacation week in Ruth's small, fine apartment was perfect. There is more than everything you need, even for cooking, nothing is missing. I particularly appreciated the quiet location with beautiful views and the cool apartment (despite summer temperatures outside). Ruth is a very helpful, courteous and very experienced host. She always has good tips and recommendations for guests who are not yet familiar with the area. Looking forward to the next stay!

The apartment is ideal for two persons – very cozy and clean, with a beautiful lake view. We felt very comfortable from the first moment. Particularly practical is the nearby bus stop: so we could just leave the car and take many excursions comfortably by bus. We will definitely be happy to come back!

Best way to describe this location is STUNNING! The views are breath taking - more beautiful in person than the photos! We loved our stay - hard to beat having morning coffee & evening wine surrounded by such beauty! The night view when the lights appear is as beautiful as the day view! A car was necessary but well worth it. David was a very responsive and helpful host & we would definitely stay again if we have that opportunity!

Alessia was a wonderful and responsive host. She met us at check in and was very flexible with our arrival time. She helped us to get settled and immediately offered us some lunch recommendations and even helped us set up a boat tour to go on during our trip. Definitely ask her about this! The space was spotless and exactly as pictured. Parking was easy and free. One thing to note is that you should be prepared for the steep hill you need to climb to get back to the apartment! Do not underestimate it! But overall this was a lovely stay with an amazing host with GORGEOUS lake views and a huge balcony.

The studio I was in had everything you need, it was very clean and tidy, the bathroom was also very clean. A nicely decorated studio. Katrin is very sweet and has great tips for hiking in the area. had a great stay despite rainy weather. highly recommended.

It’s a no brainer to stay here. Fully immersed in the lake. Moon light at night on the water and during the day you watch classic boats. You’re on the quiet part of the lake and arguably the most beautiful part of it as we drove the whole lake for 5 days. You’re surrounded by Italians and more engaged with Italian culture here. You’re a 25min drive to Menaggio where you can car ferry. Car is highly recommended. I would go to a larger supermarket prior to coming as there only seemed to be mini limited markets around.

The place was beautiful, unique, on Lake Como with direct access to the lake. I think it’s the perfect place to relax, sunbath and enjoy the lake. Beautiful table to eat outside. It was also super clean ! We knew there would be stairs, it might have been a little bit more than we expected (80)! But the owner was really nice and offered to help us as I do not travel light ! Highly recommend renting a small car/Vespa as public transport are not reliable and the only Ubers available are the black uber which are more expensive. We had a série 4 bmw to give you an idea, I would say that if your car is much wider than that it will be a little tight to go down the driveway, but doable. The parking itself is huge. There is a portable A/C, we went in June and didn’t need it as the breeze from the lake was enough to keep us cool at night. Owner was also nice enough to let us do part of our wedding photoshoot at her beautiful Villa ! Unique experience, we really loved it !
