This was a small and homey cabin to relax. With amazing and beautiful nature and with good view. Happy to recommend this to others.

We had a really good stay at Karin and René's coziest cabin in Øvre Ramse. The most relaxing cabin, overlooking the most beautiful lake and in beautiful nature far from city life. The impressive mountain and the waterfall that you could hear at the house is so beautiful. There are beautiful and good hiking routes close by or a little drive from the cabin, we had a 3 year old on a trip. Their Youtube videos are easy to follow.

Without exaggeration, this is perhaps one of the most beautiful places we have ever been. It is not only an astounding view, a beautiful chalet in beautiful surroundings, it is the exceptional garden that makes it extraordinary, the romance of an English garden in the rugged Norwegian nature. Also special, the chalet has no neighbours and behind it stretches a beautiful green forest up the mountain. With this forest as your back, you look out over a truly enchanting view, which changes every hour. The old part of the chalet dates from the 17th century and is very special and atmospheric. The modern part is equipped with all (tasteful) conveniences (good beds!) and here too… all the rooms are in wood with this special chalet-atmosphere. Last but not least, the contact with Beate was very pleasant and warm. She is pro-active and attentive. We felt very welcome in her house. Yes, it is a cliché, but we NEVER wanted to leave this Norwegian paradise. Very highly recommended!

Great cottage for money! Very nice surroundings! The cabin contained everything necessary, have a nice trip as a barbecue and fireplace! Only thing missing was a freezer but otherwise everything was great! Thank you so much for us!
