We were very pleased with the cottage. It was very clean and spacious. Everything we needed was available and suited our needs perfectly. We loved the spacious kitchen and dining area. There is a lot of storage available if you are staying for any length of time. The perfect place to stay with a family. We would definitely recommend this Airbnb.

Tolles Haus am Lake St. Peter. Das Haus war für uns ideal zum Entspannen zwischen den zahlreichen Städtebesichtigungen. Wir haben das Essen mit Blick auf den See so genossen, einfach wunderbar. Die Möbel sind zwar schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen aber sind vollkommen in Ordnung. Das Haus war super sauber und es gab alles, was man für einen unbeschwerten Aufenthalt benötigt. Die Betten waren ebenfalls sehr bequem und unterstützten unsere Erholung. Es sind zahlreiche Boote und SUP-Boards frei verfügbar. Es ist wichtig zu wissen, dass das Haus keine Klimaanlage besitzt. In heissen Sommerwochen heizt dadurch das Haus etwas auf. Wir hatten einen tollen, erholsamen Urlaub am See und würden auf alle Fälle gerne wiederkommen.

We had a lovely stay at this cottage with our extended family for a cozy winter getaway! The space was very clean, well laid out, well equipped, and had a variety of different amenities (games, hot tub, nature, etc.) - perfect for several families. We also love that our two small dogs were able to join us as well in this space! The host was very responsive and helpful. Definitely recommend!

"We had an absolutely wonderful family getaway at this property! The house is incredibly spacious, immaculately clean, and perfectly located right by the stunning Madawaska River. Our dogs were al over the place and enjoying .It had all the amenities we needed, making our stay both comfortable and memorable. We especially loved spending quality time together in such a serene and picturesque setting. This place is truly ideal for anyone looking for a relaxing escape. Highly recommend!"

Great log home for a getaway from the rat race! Loved the view overlooking the lake from the kitchen and the living room. Would definitevely come back in the summer. Can't imagine how amazing it must be to be able to dive in and make one with nature. The water, clear of that ice layer was pristine clear from what I could see from the shore!

Setting was tranquil & beautiful, overlooked the river with private pontoon to sit on/launch kayaks from (rented from the host). Paddling the river was great fun. Fire pit was lovely in the evenings. You can buy logs from the host. Cabin is well equipped, spacious and comfortable. Andrew and his family were friendly and helpful and made us feel welcome. Killaloe was a 7 min drive away with a Freshmart, and a great wholefood shop (Grandmas Pantry). Would recommend for anyone looking for a getaway/peace and quiet. Thanks Andrew and family!

This cottage was the absolute perfect place to enjoy some down time as a family! The cottage was clean, well equipped and located on a beautiful, quiet beach. Everything we needed was provided and more! We enjoyed playing soccer on the large sandy beach, swimming, fishing, board games, campfires and watching movies in the evening. The kids and parents loved it!

Thank you Anna! The place was cozy and comfortable. The place had everything that we needed. BBQ, hot tub, camp fire, Netflix and everything else you would need when visiting a place like this. Walmart and grocery stores close by if you need to buy something as well. Overall a great place that I would recommend and even stay again! Summer or winter it’s a great spot. Thank you to the hosts for sharing their place!

We had such a wonderful time at this cottage! The setting is peaceful and private. The large deck supplied with paddle board/kayaks, the dock, and the fire pit were highlights. We had lots of fun swimming and paddling around the lake, which was clear and quiet. The cottage is more on the rustic side, but is as shown in the photos. Would absolutely love to stay here again!! The hosts provided very clear instructions on check-in and check-out, and were quick to respond to messages.

This was a great location and cottage. There was nothing major to comment on. It would have been nice if there were trails within walking distance but there's lots to do at the cottage itself (canoes, kayaks, pool table, lots of lawn space). There was a good, comfortable amount of space for all of our guests to have their own room. Ping was very responsive when messaged with any questions.

We had a lovely stay at Martin's cottage! It was perfect for our group of four, offering plenty of space and all the little essentials we didn’t even think to bring—thanks to Martin’s thoughtful attention to detail. The only minor issue we encountered, which we completely understand is out of the host’s control, was the presence of ladybugs in the house. We found ourselves gently removing a few every now and then, but it didn’t detract from the overall experience. Additionally, the hot tub was unfortunately not usable during our stay, but again, we understand that sometimes things happen. Overall, we had a wonderful time and would definitely recommend this cozy retreat!

We had another great stay at the Beach house. We were 7 adults and 2 kids and never felt like we were on top of each other. Having 3 full bathrooms is so nice to have. it is very easy to run into Pembroke if we needed anything. The water was great and so shallow, the kids could safely be there for hours. If you are a swimmer, this might prove tricky, but it is fantastic for families with young kids. There were kayaks and live jackets available so you could easily go out and explore. The kitchen is huge and well equipped and the table was big enough for all of us to have supper together. The grownups enjoyed the pool table and it was well used. We had a lovely evening campfire on the beach with a beautiful sunset. All in all, a great trip. One of our party is older with a bit of mobility issues and getting down to the beach area was a bit tricky due to the high steps , but this did not affect our enjoyment of this place. Highly recommended.

Prachtig huis, goed onderhouden en kwalitatief afgewerkt. Mooi terras met goede stoelen en bbq en supermooi uitzicht over het meer. De kayaks, sub en waterfiets van goede kwaliteit. Het meer is perfect voor zwemmen en watersport. Bancroft is goed bereibaar voor restaurants en boodschappen.

Le séjour s’est extrêmement bien déroulé. Attention toutefois à bien programmer son GPS à l’avance pour ne pas se retrouver perdu sur la route, sans réseau ! D’ailleurs, les hôtes vous le feront savoir et vous recommanderont de faire vos emplettes avant de venir, car c’est littéralement « perdu » avec les premières villes à 30mn de route. C’est absolument parfait : loin de tout, calme, au milieu de la nature ! L’observation du ciel étoilé le soir est aisée. La journée, il convient d’écouter le battement des ailes des oiseaux ou le cri d’un animal au loin, au bord du lac. Cet endroit est vraiment reposant, paisible et c’est une sorte de petit paradis perdu dans l’Ontario. Nous avons vraiment adoré ! Et c’était sans compter sur les petites attentions de Kim et Dave : eau fraîche et dégustation des breuvages locaux.

Craig's place was great! I was in town for a car racing weekend and it was only 5 minutes away from the track which was perfect after a long day. It had everything we needed and was in a beautiful area right on the lake. Will definitely book again when I am in town for racing next year and recommend to anyone who is looking for a place to stay in Calabogie.

This was one of the best cottages / Lake house we have ever stayed at. Very large. Clean and modern. The host left us small Christmas / new year gifts for the children. Great special touch. Very responsive and accommodating and inviting. Very high end and well stocked kitchen. Great for our large group. We had no issues of any kind. We had a great few days and will definitely be back at some point soon.
