We were very pleased with the cottage. It was very clean and spacious. Everything we needed was available and suited our needs perfectly. We loved the spacious kitchen and dining area. There is a lot of storage available if you are staying for any length of time. The perfect place to stay with a family. We would definitely recommend this Airbnb.

We had a lovely stay at this cottage with our extended family for a cozy winter getaway! The space was very clean, well laid out, well equipped, and had a variety of different amenities (games, hot tub, nature, etc.) - perfect for several families. We also love that our two small dogs were able to join us as well in this space! The host was very responsive and helpful. Definitely recommend!

"We had an absolutely wonderful family getaway at this property! The house is incredibly spacious, immaculately clean, and perfectly located right by the stunning Madawaska River. Our dogs were al over the place and enjoying .It had all the amenities we needed, making our stay both comfortable and memorable. We especially loved spending quality time together in such a serene and picturesque setting. This place is truly ideal for anyone looking for a relaxing escape. Highly recommend!"

Great log home for a getaway from the rat race! Loved the view overlooking the lake from the kitchen and the living room. Would definitevely come back in the summer. Can't imagine how amazing it must be to be able to dive in and make one with nature. The water, clear of that ice layer was pristine clear from what I could see from the shore!

Setting was tranquil & beautiful, overlooked the river with private pontoon to sit on/launch kayaks from (rented from the host). Paddling the river was great fun. Fire pit was lovely in the evenings. You can buy logs from the host. Cabin is well equipped, spacious and comfortable. Andrew and his family were friendly and helpful and made us feel welcome. Killaloe was a 7 min drive away with a Freshmart, and a great wholefood shop (Grandmas Pantry). Would recommend for anyone looking for a getaway/peace and quiet. Thanks Andrew and family!

Craig's place was great! I was in town for a car racing weekend and it was only 5 minutes away from the track which was perfect after a long day. It had everything we needed and was in a beautiful area right on the lake. Will definitely book again when I am in town for racing next year and recommend to anyone who is looking for a place to stay in Calabogie.

This was one of the best cottages / Lake house we have ever stayed at. Very large. Clean and modern. The host left us small Christmas / new year gifts for the children. Great special touch. Very responsive and accommodating and inviting. Very high end and well stocked kitchen. Great for our large group. We had no issues of any kind. We had a great few days and will definitely be back at some point soon.
