This is our 3rd time staying at Cat's place. The location is ideal for us. So much to see and do in the local area. The place is great value and has everything we need. We hope to be back soon, many thanks.

Sarah is a wonderful hostess, very friendly and attentive. She welcomed us in person and gave us a very detailed introduction to the Annexe. Everything in the Annexe was thoughtfully arranged, beautiful and comfy furniture, snacks and milk in the kitchen on arrival. Big blanket and towels for the dog. Very quiet and peaceful location, a great base for exploring east coast of Aberdeenshire. Highly recommend!

The Thornton castle is a magical place which touched our hearts, and we will never forget our stay there. The castle itself is majestic and enchanting. The outside grounds are extremely amazing and offer beauty in all directions. We fell in love just walking along the pathways, enjoying the flowers, lawns, and wildlife. Griselda is amazing and runs an incredible Airbnb. She provided a full Scottish breakfast in which every detail was proper and served with love. She uses fresh ingredients, such as strawberry jams and eggs coming from her estate. I would stay there again in a heartbeat! If you book this Airbnb, you won’t be disappointed!
