Welcome to our Andalusian-Arabic cave country house in the middle of the evergreen mountains of the Alpujarra, the fertile southern slopes of the Sierra Nevada, Spain's largest national park, diverse, beautiful, wild, unique, spoiled by 300 days of sunshine a year and blessed by a great abundance of water. The holiday home is partly built into the rock in a valley on a southern slope, hidden in a quiet, lonely, rural location with a great view of the mountains and surrounded by blooming nature.

It is a traditional house located on the edge of the village overlooking the highest peaks of the peninsula, Mulhacén 3482 and Veleta. Be careful with your mobility because there are many slopes in the village and stairs in the house. During summer on the "terrace" there may be flies and smells of cattle because there is a goat pen nearby. You can park or use the small parking lot of Las Espeñuelas for loading and unloading, which is 15 meters from the house, but first make sure you can drive.

Located in the Sierra Nevada, the house at the top of the village (Barrio Alto) is on the way to the GR7, GR240 and Mont Mulhacen, the highest peak in mainland Spain 3478 m. Public parking is in front of the house. The village is really unique in Spain. The old district of Trevélez has an indisputable charm. Welcome to travelers, bikers, hikers.

2 rooms: a 4 persons bedroom with individual beds, which can be put together on request. This room has a en suite bathroom. The other room has a double bed. Another bathroom in the hall. Two living rooms and a fully equipped kitchen complete the interior part. Outside you can relax in a very nice garden with terrace and private salted swimming pool (less than 10% of salt compared with sea water and no chemicals).

Places of interest: The location of the house is very close to Sierra Nevada at 25 km and 18 km from Granada and the Alhambra, the coast at 60 km and Nerja at 100 km. You will love my place because of the views from the terrace and from the living room. The terrace is surrounded by pots to enjoy the tranquility and relaxation. My accommodation is good for couples, adventurers, and families (with children).

The dream of an Andalusian country house

The house's greatest attraction is its location, with stunning views of the Sierra Nevada National Park and Canales Reservoir. It is very well connected to downtown Granada and the Sierra Nevada ski resort, only half an hour away by car. Pets are allowed but a surcharge of €30 per pet is payable in addition to the reservation. Please check with the hosts.
