Evening and Sunday open grocery store Mesnali 3 min. Bed linen and towels can be rented and must be pre-booked - price NOK 250/£20/€25 per set. Feel free to bring your own. Cozy guest house with 2 bedrooms with double beds. You have to go through the first bedroom to get to the second. Therefore, it is best suited for families or close friends, and it is also possible to set up an extra children's bed in the “library.” There is approx. a 10 minute walk down to the city center with the railway station and the University and 3 km up to Birkebeinerstarten, as well as approx. 3 km to Rena camp. There is also a gazebo/greenhouse on the property that can be used to have your morning coffee or relax with a good book

The old summer barn of Hovelsrud Gård is idyllically located between Mjøsa and a rolling grain field – a simple and unique place for those who want to get close to nature and enjoy the tranquility of Helgøya. Firewood for free. There are plenty of space to sit outside, in wintertime this is on the starting place for Birken skirace. 3km from Rena.
