Magical Tiny Treehouse 'room with a view'

AllyRating, 5 stars1 week ago
I had a deeply nourishing stay at The Room with a View. Simple, rustic and peaceful, the tree house felt snug and sheltered in the Larch, over-looking beautiful and expansive moorland. For me, it was the perfect place for solitude and communing with nature. I immersed myself in the surroundings; venturing out onto the moors with the standing stones and ponies accompanied by the wonderful sound of the cuckoo. I found Anna to be very friendly and helpful; giving clear directions for travel and showing me round when I arrived - sharing some of the stories behind the place. There’s a well-equipped outside kitchen and cabin with a fridge along with washing up and shower facilities. A really informative book in the lodgings gives good recommendations for local eateries, hill and coastal walks as well as a list of beautiful beaches, castles and other places of interest - if you wish to go further afield. I felt rested and replenished and would love to come back.

Welsh Modernist 1970s Cabin Dog Friendly

SianRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Caban Corgi really lived up to expectations. We’d been following on social media and had picked up a copy of the ‘Cabin Crew’ book, so it was really fun to see the Hird & Brooks cabin and Penlan park in reality. Seeing all the different cabin types in the park and their clever orientation was a bit of fun for this nerdy architect! Real shame than the trees have been felled but don’t let that put you off coming. If you’re C20 architecture fan it really is a must! Bethan and Angharad were fantastic hosts and communication before and during our stay as spot on. Cenarth is a wonderful spot and a great base for exploring the coast, rivers and woods in three of Wales’ most spectacular counties.

Peaceful apartment next to the river

DeanRating, 5 stars1 month ago
This is the second time staying at this utter paradise near Capel Iwan. Chris and his wife are amazing hosts - the property is one of the best places we have ever stayed - peaceful, idyllic, heavenly - there are not enough words to describe this absolute gem. From the BBQ hut, to the hot tub, pool and beautiful private meadow - Chris' mill house is just perfect. My family, including our two pups, were warmly welcomed. The apartment is clean and has everything you need for your stay. The hot tub and pool are great, and the real star of the show is the BBQ hut for those lovely evenings in their sun trap of a garden. Thank you, Chris, for a wonderful stay once again - see you soon.

An absolutely amazing and peaceful stay. We enjoyed the tranquility of the Wales and enjoyed the whiskey barrel, hot tub immensely. It was so nice to relax by the fire. We thought that the tiny home was very well laid out and every part of it was utilized correctly. Thank you for letting us stay and being part of our journey through Wales.

The Cwtsh @ Helyg Fach

KeithRating, 5 stars10 months ago
This Cwtsh @ Helyg Fach is a lovely little property. It's spotless, well presented and is perfect for couples looking for a comfortable and relaxing stay. It's in a good location to explore the local area, being about a 5-10 minute drive from Cardigan. Gina is a really welcoming and helpful host and has made sure the property is well furnished and is kitted out with everything you'll need for your stay. The homemade welshcakes provided as a welcome are delicious!! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend staying here and would definitely use again in the future if visiting the area.
