Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Lakewood

Beautiful view! The home was very nice and comfortable, quiet neighborhood (there were some roosters but that didn't bother us, it wasn't too loud) Light switches were all labeled, main bed was comfortable. It might have been nice for blackout curtains in the main bedroom, but waking up to that view was amazing! Only one side of the couch reclined, which was fine for us. The hot tub was relaxing, note that the jets weren't very strong, but we still enjoyed it. It is about a 25 minute drive to get to some good restaurants. And you have to drive about 5 minutes to one of the State parks for beach access (there are a few that are really close by!) The place was exactly what we were looking for, a beautiful peaceful stay! We loved our stay and would stay again!

Christian was very responsive and his place had lots of space. It was a great location for us to get to the University of Pugent Sound. It was easy for us to get into Seattle from his home and ferry to Vashon Island.

We had a great stay while visiting family in the area. The home was clean and comfortable, and included nice touches like wifi and a guitar on the wall. The hosts were proactive and helpful in their communication. Location is near a Fred Meyer and the Tacoma Mall, but still on a quiet street. Also, quite easy to get up to downtown, Ruston Way, and Point Defiance.

Beautiful home away from home! Perfect location and worked really well for our family get-to-gether. Lots of games and space to gather, along with fully stocked kitchen that made it easy to cook for our larger group. Thank you for the memories and we’re looking forward to staying here for our next family visit.

The photos do not lie. Very peaceful spacious accommodations. The kayaks were wonderful for a peaceful late afternoon paddle. It is true that the path to the beach is very steep and not for the faint of heart or legs. The only slight drawback is that sound carries very easily through the air ducts, so if you're in the master bedroom, you will hear what's going on downstairs. But all in all, I would not hesitate to stay here again and again.

I liked the fact I can park in the back and not on the street, just easier. The neighborhood is simply lovely with big trees, gardens. I walked to Proctor, a very charming little town with very cool shops. Easy to get onto the freeway which I look for easy navigation to those I need to visit. I will be visiting Seattle again and will be staying at this lovely, clean, nest (my description).

We enjoyed the whole house. It was beautifully decorated and so cozy. The views of Mt. Rainier from the living room and 2 bedrooms are stunning! While we were there, we saw seals, an eagle, deer, and a friendly cat that visited us daily. The kayaks were a hit. We would stay there again!

Our stay at Serene Shadow Lake was exactly what we needed. Absolutely beautiful view of the lake with the eagles, humming birds,and geese, loved listening to the song birds, and frogs. Felt at home and slept like a dream. Would highly recommend.

Another wonderful stay! This is my second time to enjoy these accommodations, and I’ll always stay here when I’m in the area. The bed is SO comfy, hot shower, coffee and sweet cream, chocolates, water bottles… just a great stay. Such a cute little apartment! 💗

Lovely relaxing renovated space. Lots of comfy places to sit and enjoy the view. Beds were cozy! Every extra thing you could possibly need there, lots of lovely touches. We came here with our toddler and older mother. We found parking in the back easily and felt safe to leave our cars. The stairs were a bit much for my mom who has a hard time with stairs in general. But she said it was worth it for the view. We had tons of stuff to bring in and out with the toddler we had a good work out loading the car. Over all beautiful space and would love to stay again!

Perfect place to recover after surgery. The variety of places to sit and relax was excellent. Really enjoyed the outdoor sitting areas. Kitchen had everything we needed to cook including good quality knives and cookware (much better than many other places I've stayed). Lots of thoughtful details like beach towels and chairs, outdoor blankets, binoculars to watch birds and boats, extra blankets and pillows. The host was responsive to a couple of special needs and we enjoyed the baked goods they provided. It is a bit of a drive to restaurants or grocery stores which was fine for us. It was perfect for rest and relaxation.

Great location! Beautiful view of Mt Rainier from the living room window 😍 very clean and has everything you might need. The apartment is just above a restaurant, shop and workout studio. One morning around 6am music started bumpin from the workout place waking my brother who was staying in the guest room so a sound machine might be helpful to pack if you’re worried about that. Also, the single bed mattresses were not the most comfortable, it may not be an issue for younger children/teens but adults will notice. The couch in the living room where the TV is located is very comfortable and an adult can easily fit on it to sleep. The portable A/C units work very well and kept our room and the living room nice and cool. Lanis was great answering questions and helping me when I ran into an issue getting our code to work on the door from the street. She answered our message immediately and reset the lock even though it was 10pm when we ran into the issue. Would stay here again!

wonderful 2 story home. perfect place for our family of 3 adults and 1 four year old. place was very clean and had all amenities as listed. Host went out of way to help us when couldn't find a hairdryer and brought one over immediately. Would highly recommend. 5+ stars!

Stayed for a second time on our way back from Alaska . Steve kindly let us stow one of our cases that we didn’t need just now . It really is a fabulous Airbnb in a beautiful neighbourhood . We certainly loved it .

This was my second time at the Woodsy Retreat and it was wonderful, again. Enjoyed a hike through the State Forest, the hot tub, and all the goodies and snacks! Perfect place to relax and get away from it all!

This property was perfect for our group stay. The hosts were exceptionally responsive and helpful throughout our visit. The home comfortably accommodated everyone, and the outdoor area—with its spacious patio and beautiful view—was a highlight. The kids especially enjoyed the basketball court and various games available. Overall, a great experience—we would gladly return.

I stayed here for the past month. It was a pleasant time for Haoru and her family, all friendly, and we would talk together and be like family. The house is clean and tidy, fully equipped, conveniently located, conveniently parking, and very close to the bus stop. The first time I was here, I felt warmth. It is worth recommending. Daughter and I stayed here and completely fell in love with the house. Very nice layout and roomy, if you are staying at this house more than 1 night plan to cook . Kitchen is fully equipped with the essentials to host a BBQ or family casserole night. This was our first AIR B&B stay anywhere and let me tell you it's worth the money. Privacy we were able to take our doggo. Truly enjoyed it, Side note and it is probably me but this home has all of its bedrooms upstairs and someone who has had knee replacement and needing hip and back surgery it took a moment to get up and down the stairs. But it was worth it.

Amazing Get together in a equally amazing Air BnB. this Lake corner Air BnB, had everything you need for 4 Families. Kayaks, multiple Sitout places near Lake, amazing Game Room. Lakeview Bedrooms, Clean bathroom with all toiletries. needed Umbrellas and were arranged on short notice. Special mention to sofas which were super comfortable and high quality. Lakeview Kitchen with required Utensils and helped us to cook Amazing Indian dishes. Thanks Anu for amazing time in Seattle/Tacoma.

What a pleasure to stay at Deepankar's beautiful property! We stayed at this beautiful and unique house for a weekend getaway with my wife and extended family (with 2 small kids), and couldn't ask for a better place! We had friends visit us and overall it turned out to be an extremely fun weekend with great catch ups, conversation, laughter, and a lots of fun thanks to this amazing house and wonderfully serene surrounding!! The house offers a lot of cool nooks, including a wide view of the beautiful Case Inlet right from the living room, well stocked kitchen, comfy recliners, a nice Solarium, a movie theater, a small gym, several bathrooms, hot tub, and outdoor patio leading to a small trail to kayaks - too much to explore!! Deepankar & Whitney were extremely helpful, communicative, flexible, and responsive. Highly recommended for a family stay or solitary retreat alike to mingle or relax, in the lap of nature with glimpses of harbor seals, birds, & views of beautiful water and sky!

Ken's place is phenomenal! Joe, his contact, was Great and kept us informed before the trip. The home is more beautiful than the photos! It is new, clean, and was perfect for our family. Everything worked from all the lights/appliances/fireplace/toilets, etc. The location was great to get to local restaurants and shops walking. Trader joe's was just 0.7 miles away. 35 minute uber to SEA airport. Great to have AC/heat/fireplace. The outside patios offered great views of the Puget sound and mount Rainier. One of the best houses I have ever stayed in. A must to book if your going to Seattle!

This is our 2nd time staying at Dewen's place and we enjoyed it just as much as we did the first time. If we had known we'd need an Airbnb for as long as we do, we would have planned to stay here the entire time. It is easily walkable to Starbucks, Fred Myers and several restaurants (5 minutes). A slightly longer walk will take you to Gilman Village where there are restaurants, shops and Issaquah Coffee Company. The location is private, peaceful (there is noise from the freeway and larger roads nearby, but it was not at all a problem for us) and beautiful. We often saw deer in the yard and saw tons of different kinds of birds. I enjoyed just sitting on the deck relaxing in the beautiful surroundings and our dogs loved running around sniffing at the mole hills. The living/dining areas are very spacious, as is the master bedroom. There is an additional bedroom and a loft if you have a larger party. I would gladly stay here any time we need an Airbnb in the area.

This was an excellent location with a beach vibe and great neighborhoods too. Marlow was a great host and quickly responded to any questions we had. It was a peaceful place with a great view.
