Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Lake Whitney

I don't think I've ever checked into a a place I'm staying and felt immediately at home, like I did at the Magnolia. My partner, our pup Wallace and I spent 4 nights in peaceful bliss. everything we could have wanted for a healing and relaxing retreat was available. EVERYTHING. I felt like we were all alone in the woods each day with all the convenience of being a quick drive to town. I hope we will be able to return! Beautiful home enough space for a family downtown is not far away and places to eat peaceful neighborhood ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️all the way plus the host is super respectful and active on anything you need

We loved our stay at Poppy and Rye Cottage. Such a special little home with family history. Perfect little getaway home. We enjoyed the backyard and fireplace. Comfy bed and clean space. The hospitality was top notch and a perfect location. We would absolutely come back and stay again!

Pamela’s cottage was perfect! I’m often in the Grandview/Maypearl/Covington area for short little trips. Now that I bring my Golden Retriever with me, it has been difficult to find places that are convenient and affordable. Pamela’s is everything and then some! If anything, Pamela undersells how amazing the place is. The cottage itself is super clean and had everything I needed. The bed was comfy, the hot water worked great, and I could let my dog sniff around without fear of her picking something up off the ground because of how clean it was. The directions and instructions to get there and enter were very clearly communicated. And the surrounding land they have is beautiful. Sadie and I loved our stay and will definitely book again soon!

This is a beautiful one of a kind place, the host put a lot of thought into making this pretty and fun! It was spacious, clean and great for 2 families. The instructions are clear, the place is very close to Magnolia market and all things Waco has to offer. We had a lot of fun celebrating MIL’s 75th birthday here. Things to note: there is no dishwasher in the kitchen and we had to hand wash dishes. And, the space in which daybed sits is a lot smaller than expected, so we had to re-arrange where everyone slept. These are not deterrents for us to stay here again but something to be mindful of. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a pinkalicious place for special celebrations.

The house was very nice! It had everything we needed and had lots of space for everyone. The neighborhood was pretty and felt very safe. Overall we had a great stay. The only negatives were the beds weren’t the most comfortable in the 2 extra rooms. Master bedroom was better. The fence in the backyard didn’t look secure enough for my dog to be let off the leash. It had several places with holes at the bottom she could’ve slipped through and the grass was pretty tall in the back. Otherwise it was a great house, great location, great host, and great stay! Definitely recommend staying here!

Beautiful home and amazing hosts. We arrived at the home and a man was doing some gardening work for the homeowners. The co host Paul asked me and my parent if we wanted him to leave and come back another time. I was very appreciative of this gesture. The home was extremely clean. I loved the white noise box, I fell asleep immediately listening to it!! Absolutely loved this place.

What an incredible place! Peaceful, gorgeous, clean, quiet, and everything we needed to enjoy a lovely weekend in Waco. The bed was super comfy, and we loved the shower products. Fishing in the fully stocked pond was so much fun; we caught and released five bass fish! I would definitely book this beautiful, rustic cabin again and again in a heartbeat!
