The Yellow Door on Columbus

RitaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
The house was very spacious and clean and had everything our family needed for a weekend stay in Waco. Location was good, walking distance to a couple things (Pinewood Coffee and the Toasted Yolk) but most other places we wanted to go (Baylor, downtown) required a short, easy drive. Ample parking, easy check-in. Nice living room with Netflix and games for family to wind down. Very clean and nicely-appointed bathrooms as well. The main downside was that the neighbor has a rooster that crows in the middle of the night. Bring earplugs.

Fully Remodeled House Steps from Magnolia/Baylor

NathanRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
The place was very close to the Magnolia Silos. It was beautiful and clean. The doors were tricky at times, but we got the hang of them. So easy to drive to The Silos (definitely walkable, but we were with aging family members) and lots of other fun locations nearby! Would use again!

The Wishing House-3 minute walk to Magnolia Silos

AshleyRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We had a wonderful stay at the Wishing House! It was only a couple blocks from Magnolia and nice to be able to go back and forth easily. Great access to restaurants and easy to find. There was a live band playing next door on Friday night but with my earplugs it didn’t bother me. Everything was very clean! The outlets in bathroom didn’t work, but it didn’t affect our stay and when I mentioned it they were quick to respond about getting them checked out/fixed! My only recommendation would be to have a nightstand next to master bed to place phone, water, book, eyeglasses, etc. Overall it was the perfect place for us to stay and I highly recommend it to anyone wanting to check out Waco, and especially for those that would like a place close to Magnolia! :)

Inn on Austin -Historic Home 1 mile from the Silos

AlexisRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Erin’s home was beautiful, clean and comfortable! A very historic and interesting home. It was only a five minute drive to everything magnolia which was one of our biggest attractions during our short stay. Erin was more than helpful, quick to respond and even allowed us early check in to help us accommodate to our son‘s nap! The location is perfect and we felt extra safe with the gated fenced in yard. Our dogs and son loved the outdoor space!

Peaceful Cabin retreat

AudreyRating, 5 stars1 week ago
This definitely is one of our top favorite stays; words cannot describe how peaceful & beautiful the surrounding land was, but the house was so calm, comfortable and made us feel right at home. It was large & spacious, and absolutely would be a great space for a large family to relax comfortably.

Sun Perch on the Brazos River

JulieRating, 5 starstoday
Becky and her husband Ricky were extremely accommodating. It had rained seven inches the day before, so the river flooded over. They lost their fire pit and chairs which were close to the river. Ricky knew we were disappointed because we really wanted a fire, so on Saturday, he built us a huge fire, brought chairs, and gave us a bottle of wine. We were impressed by their almost immediate response to our texts and our situation. The only real negative is that when they say “tiny,” they weren’t kidding. It’s teeny tiny, so if you pack a lot (which I did), it will be hard to get it all in. Overall, it was a very pretty spot, very quiet & private, and the hosts were incredibly responsive.

Tommi was able to provide a romantic last minute date night getaway. She responded right away allowing us to pack for our spontaneous adventure. We were even able to check in early to sit on the porch and enjoy the birds and relax. The cabin was clean and inviting. We will definitely be staying again and have recommended Tommi to friends.

The Brazos River Getaway

Dr. SuzanneRating, 5 stars6 months ago
For anyone attending or hosting an event at the Stonebridge Wedding and Event venue in Blum, this is the place to stay. It can sleep up to 9, has lots of linens and towels and is just lovely. Well decorated, the kitchen was the best stocked with lots of items for cooking/baking at ‘home’. We were sad it wasn’t cool enough to take advantage of the fire pit outside.
