Vacation rentals in Lake Wateree

A beautiful and well located property and a great glamping experience. Waking up to the serenity and views of the lake was a bonus after spending loud and busy days at the track. Carrie’s property is well taken care of as are her rescue horses and donkeys which seem very happy. Our last day we ventured out on the lake in a canoe and got to see some local birds and critters and hear a chorus of well rehearsed frogs. Delightful!

Awesome place to stay! My kids loved staying on the water. Plenty of room in the back yard for them to run and play. Overall good experience

Loved our stay! Plenty of room for 4 families (cousins that grew up together!) and our kids. The older kids loved the game room with pool and ping pong, & the kayaks & paddleboards. Nice to have life jackets for our use! The younger kids loved playing in huge grassy yard, hammock swinging, kayaking, and building forts in the "kids" TV room (w/ foosball table and three twin beds). There was so much space inside and outside to hang out with our large family. Many places to sit, and floor space for two babies to roam. Kitchen was well stocked with most things you should need. Beautiful setting, and the adults loved sitting on the screened porches, chairs by the fire pit and admiring the peaceful lake and sunsets. Well stocked with towels, and some beach towels too. Owner was easy to communicate with and flexible on check-in and check-out times, which was appreciated with the chaos of herding kids! There are a LOT of stairs, which wasn't an issue for us, but something to note.

The home is beautiful and the yard backs up right to a wonderfull view of the lake. The property is large enough for various activities. He has kayaks available for your use. We had a wonderful time there and would certainly stay there again.

Joel and Giovi were exceptional hosts! Both very helpful and kind! During my stay I even learned to drive stick, and shoot a firearm! They are both military and very disciplined and responsible regarding that and in their daily lives. The unit was perfect for my parents and pets while I was evacuating. Very high ceilings. Quality hard tile floors. Classic entertainment systems. Pool table. Swimming pool. The privacy and security with a brick wall and gate helped put my parents at ease in their first Airbnb. My father now talks about renovating our house!
