Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Lake Palestine

The pictures don’t do justice! We had a couples trip with a friend group where we wanted to relax at the lake, paddle board, and fish. We were able to enjoy most of those things from the backyard or in the house! She had all of the amenities and a great house layout full of games. Danelle is an amazing host as well - extremely responsive and friendly! We definitely enjoyed our trip here 😊🌞

This is the perfect place to stay if you have little ones. Chrissy has it set up to keep them entertained for hours. We spent most of our time in the backyard swinging, playing ball, eating smores at the fire pit. The kayaks and paddle board were great fun and there’s plenty of life preservers to keep them safe. We listened to the birds each morning, watched the cardinals play, saw a cormorant dive for his dinner and even saw a fox and her kits. An enclosed yard with locked gate ensures safety and peace of mind. The foosball table and closet full of toys and books keeps the fun going inside as well. Plenty to do nearby, bluebonnet season is a great time to go! Chrissy was very friendly, responsive and great to rent from. We’ll be back!

Melinda had a nice home near the lake.

The Red Roof Cottage was nice and very relaxing. The view is awesome and there are many activities to do with the family. Anita was quick to respond when something was needed. We will definitely come back again.

Wonderful home, welcoming host! We really enjoyed our stay at Kathryn’s lake house. We arrived Wednesday and left Sunday- we wish we would’ve stayed one more day. The house was incredibly clean. Brand new pots and pans. Clean bedding, floors- the place was spotless. The bathrooms are clean and modern- great water pressure. Kathryn called us prior to our arrival to answer any questions. She was welcoming and kind. I also texted her while we were there, and she responded immediately. The house has a beautiful dock- it was a nice place to fish. The backyard is huge- we brought our dog. We had tons of room to play. We all slept good. The beds are comfy. We enjoyed the screened in porch when it got windy. My son also loved the foosball table. The only negative was the neighbor had a crew working on his dock. We didn’t love the noise from their music/construction, but it was still a great trip. We would definitely stay here again. It was at the top end of our budget but 100% worth it!

We loved the porch- lake views, piney woods, and birdwatching. The setup is thoughtful and simple. Lil lake house gives you everything you need. Deceptively behind a business but when to drive into the covered, well lit parking, you see your first glimpse of the water and realize that it is private and quiet.

LOVED staying at Tranquil’s Tiny Cabin. They provided a water bowl, leash, baggies, and towel for the dog, which was an unexpected touch! The cabin was cozy, comfortable, and temperature control was great. We were lucky enough to have beautiful weather, so we spent most of the time with the door and window open to let the fresh air in. Great use of such a tiny space, with under bed storage to keep luggage and other personal belongings out of the way.

This cabin was the perfect getaway. Plenty of room for our boat and so peaceful. You could access 4 different boat ramps within 15 minutes. Closest being a mile and a half away. Juan was quick to respond to any question I had. And we felt comfortable unhooking our boat at the cabin while we ran to town due to the privacy fence and gate. Can’t wait to go back.

My husband and I rented this cabin for 3 Days 2 nights anniversary stay. We really enjoyed the seclusion of not being super close to Neighbors, surrounded by trees and nature. It was very peaceful and Serene. The cabin had many amenities to keep us entertained while having romantic evenings. We loved the vaulted ceilings, the large porches, the hot tub, the porch swing was one of my favorite places to sit, and we loved the large two shower head shower. It was also cool that there was trails to the pond and other games to play in the coffee table. We had such a good time there and would recommend this cabin for any reason to go stay there. We hope to return in the future!

We had an amazing stay here! So clean, comfy and well stocked! So many special touches and we were discovering things up to the last minute. Our girls trip to Canton was challenging to say the least with the bad weather, but when we got back to the house, the stress just melted away. Communications with the owners were so appreciated and their quick responses were great! Can’t wait to come back!!!

We could not have asked for a better getaway for our family! Amy is a thoughtful and responsive host, and we loved the farmhouse. The space is both cozy and spacious, as well as very comfortable, and perfect for us to slow down and enjoy being out in the country. We had fun exploring around Rusk and then relaxing at the farmhouse. We would love to come back again in the future!

We had a wonderful time at Willow’s Cabin. It was the exact vibe we were looking for for our relaxing weekend away. The dogs had so much fun playing in the ponds, and we had even more fun meeting the pigs, relaxing in the hot tub, and making s’mores. Couldn’t recommend this place more!

We had the best weekend as a family! Leslie’s cabin was more than we expected. Fully stocked with anything you think you might need in the kitchen, spacious, super clean, and soooo quiet! Our kids didn’t come inside all day, and at night loved making s’mores at the fire pit. Thank you for giving us a care free weekend away where we could disconnect, unwind, and spend time with each other. This might be the best Airbnb we have stayed at and we can’t wait to come back!

This was an awesome stay! Great for privacy and relaxation. There’s many sitting places, great to hang out. Great amenities for cooking and grilling. Jacuzzi was just the right extra touch! This place is special🫶🏽
