Vacation rentals with a kayak in Lake Ouachita

This place has everything a family could want. All the games, the pool, the lake and having access to paddle boards and kayaks was so much fun. This is a beautiful home and surroundings. It was very clean. Only thing I could think of that we needed once we got there was a lighter, ice and a little fire wood. Our stay was a blast and I'd go back.

Was very quiet, clean and a great area to relax for a quick getaway! The location is perfect and I’d book again.

Becca is an amazing host. She provided biscuits and gravy for the four of us very early one morning before we headed out to fish! Just incredible. And when we needed a couple of batteries for a remote, they were right over to deliver. The house is very well kept, very clean, and very functional. This was our second stay and won’t be our last.

We shared the house with 2 families and it was great! The kids loved the bunk room and everyone enjoyed the firepit and hot tub. The location was perfect…a quick drive to downtown. Stephen was an excellent host and always responsive. We had a great time and will be back!

We had an incredible stay at this high-end home! From the moment we arrived, it was clear that every detail had been thoughtfully curated for comfort and enjoyment. The house itself is beautifully designed, spacious, and impeccably clean. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you could possibly need, making it easy to cook meals while enjoying the lake views. The outdoor amenities are unbeatable—a sparkling pool, a relaxing hot tub, fire pit, and kayaks with direct lake access. Whether we were lounging by the water, taking a dip, or soaking in the sunset from the hot tub, every moment felt like home. Inside, there were greats entertainment options including 3 arcade games, shuffleboard, and the speak easy that kept everyone engaged. It’s the perfect spot for families or groups looking for a mix of luxury, relaxation, and fun.

It’s not easy to accommodate a large family without stepping on toes but this property was beautiful, comfortable and had every amenity we needed for a wonderful extended weekend, even giant board games! The owners were very responsive to our request for a late check-out due to inclement weather and they were so kind! Highly recommend this property!

We enjoyed our stay. The cottage had everything we needed and the kids loved the game room. Lake and swim dock were very nice but it was rainy so we didn’t get to enjoy that part.

This is a great space. There are so many sitting areas to enjoy the relaxation and seclusion. I will recommend this spot to everyone in my home town of Monroe/West Monroe Louisiana that is looking for a couples retreat. The place is also so close and easy to everything a person might come to Hot Springs for (very important). We will come back, for sure. Thank you Donna and Luke

This is a hidden gem! We had a lovely time enjoying the scenery, relaxing in the hot tub, eating at the lodge, and watching the sunset! It was peaceful and exactly what we needed for a quick weekend getaway. Would highly recommend!

The place was nice, clean, and a great location! There is not stove top but they did provide an electric skillet. There’s 2 mini fridges and a freezer. Nice place to stay if you don’t plan to cook extensive meals.

Great cottage, beautiful views, handy boat slip, plenty of room to park a boat/trailer in adjacent lot.

This home was better than we could have ever expected! Beautiful views out back, beautiful/unique decor, incredibly clean, and had literally any and everything you could need. Kayaks, fishing poles, life jackets, and so much other outdoor equipment were provided, which made enjoying the water easy! I also loved how D made sure our dogs enjoyed vacation just as much as we did. Water bowls were conveniently placed around the property, along with dog toys and treats as well. This meant a lot to us! D responded quickly, and was so friendly and welcoming. It felt like a home away from home. We can’t wait to come back!

Enjoyed are time on the lake. Cottage was clean and well maintained. Would stay there again.

Love the open floor plan, the main bedroom had a very comfortable bed, super cute picnic table out front, chairs and tables out back with a fire pit. The best part was in the evenings, the sunset was absolutely beautiful!

We enjoyed our stay at this property. It was very spacious and accommodated our party perfectly. It actually surpassed our expectations regarding amenities, and things to do on the property! We will definitely look to book this property again in the future. 5 stars all the way!!!

My family of 5 (2 adults and 3 teens) stayed at the house over Spring break and had plenty of space. The cabin was located perfect for our crystal digging adventures. After digging, we would come back and clean the crystals on the back porch watching the sun set. The hot tub was small, but it worked out. We rotated small groups at a time. The inside of the house was open and inviting. We could all be in the same space or retreat to our rooms if needed. It had everything that we needed, minus food, which helps when traveling.

This was the perfect quiet, private area! The view from the porch was absolutely beautiful! The host were very helpful and responded very quickly! Would definitely stay here again!

The cabin is perfect for a couple. It was clean and the bed was comfortable. Plenty of towels were available. We enjoyed the screened porch, the view, and the river being just steps away. Total privacy on the 2 acres was nice. We fished coves at Lake Greeson, near Swaha and Self creek areas. Had fresh fish for dinner 2 nights and Wright's Grocery is just minutes away from the cabin in Glenwood. We'll be back!

This was an amazing stay! ❤️❤️ We had so much fun relaxing in the cabin, swimming, and playing putt putt! My kids didn’t want to leave our vacation. Did you see the pictures of the shower/tub?!! ❤️🚿🛀 The whole thing lights up at night, and we enjoyed our fire pit, a walk around the property, and playing putt putt after dark. Design and decor was gorgeous, and it seems like each cabin is a little different. I can’t wait to go back again and try out another cabin! This place is a gorgeous hidden gem in Hot Springs!

We celebrated our baby moon at Colleen’s cabin and spent 4 nights there. The cabin was exactly as described, so easy to find, and in a beautiful location right on the lake. The design of the cabin was beautiful and the amenities were great. We especially loved using the Lilly pad in the lake every afternoon and then sitting on the deck watching the boats go by before sunset. The grill was so handy, and Colleen supplied all of the Utensils to be able to use it. Our dog loved the space as well!! We can’t wait to book the cabin again in the summer time.

Great little retreat! The views are amazing! We had such a fun time exploring, playing in the water, and watching the geese with our toddler!
