Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Lake Michigan

The home was perfect for a multigenerational family vacation. The setting was absolutely beautiful. The kitchen was very functional. There was space and supplies for the toddler as well as the dogs. We enjoyed our stay.

We had a wonderful stay at the Seeblick Haus. What a special location and home. The kitchen was well stocked, the views were great, and the house was cozy. I especially loved how it glowed at night with lots of diffused light. Thank you for opening your home for us and others!

If you are ever in the Manistique are, do not hesitate to book Travis’s place! This was our first trip to the UP, and wow, what a perfect place to stay! The most relaxing house and location I have ever stayed, this property - right on Lake Michigan - was perfect!

I stayed Thurs–Sun and couldn’t have asked for a better solo retreat. I run a wellness business and needed a change of scenery to rest, reflect, and reset. This space delivered all that and more. The home is spotless, everything thoughtfully arranged. The kitchen is fully stocked with a separate pantry, which made it easy to cook all my meals. The soaring ceilings, sliding glass doors, and screened patio created the perfect indoor-outdoor vibe. I never even went to the beach, between the peaceful yard, woodland trail, and hot tub, I didn’t want to leave. My dog loved it too. Johnny and Michelle were responsive and kind, quick to help with a Wi-Fi question, then gave me space to unwind. Favorite moments: morning runs on Lake Shore Dr, sunset cocktail walks to Sundown Park, chill music on the Bluetooth speaker, and lunch at Penny Royal (the veggie sando = 10/10). If you’re looking for a peaceful, elevated stay that feels like a proper reset, this is it. I’ll be back with friends!!

To find a place in the middle of Sheboygan and right on the beach was fantastic. We loved the location but everything about the house was really perfect. Easy, super clean, and comfortable in every way.

Courtney’s place was perfect for our 3 night stay with our dog! We took full advantage of the kitchen and the fenced-in yard. Her location was great: off the main road but close to stores and the dunes! It was super comfy and clean with plenty of wildlife spotting. We loved our stay there.

We absolutely loved staying at the CDL for a long weekend. The board game room had so many options to choose from—we really enjoyed spending time in there, checking out new games and a few staples. Everything was immaculate when we stepped in, so tastefully decorated and oh so clean. Rex and Lynnette are top notch hosts and were available when we had questions or needed a refill of coffee beans. Such kind people! We stayed at the Yellow Door Lodge last year and loved it just as much. We will be back!

This place is perfection! Leave the car at the rental and walk to downtown, the pier, and the beach. Great restaurants and free events within an easy stroll. The location is super quiet even though it’s close to all the action. Would absolutely stay here again AND recommend to friends and family! Perfect place for a respite from the hustle and bustle! Do yourself a favor and book yourself a stay with Tina.

My husband and I stayed here right after our wedding. Just a little getaway after all the fun and craziness. The Airbnb was beautiful and exactly like described in the description and photos! It had a sauna, a beautiful bathroom with a separate shower and tub, and a beer on tap, which was a fun little bonus! The balcony was our favorite part. We sat outside in the mornings with a coffee and enjoyed the views (and honestly the people watching lol). The lake is literally across the street and the 3 minute walk was awesome. Overall a wonderful experience! Highly recommend if you need a quick getaway or want to treat yourself to a more “high tech” luxury apartment 🥰

So fun for our family of 4. We enjoyed the lake and cozy accommodations. Can hear people walking and talking upstairs, which were used to and felt right at home. Thoughtful instructions made everything clear. All was spotless and clean. A real treasure!

We had a wonderful stay at Tina’s Airbnb! From the moment we arrived, everything was exactly as described: clean, cozy, and thoughtfully prepared. The space had a warm, welcoming vibe that made us feel right at home. Tina was a fantastic host, she was very communicative, accommodating. She provided clear instructions making our stay super simple. Whether we were relaxing inside or exploring the area, it was the perfect home base. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful and comfortable getaway!

Rhonda has a great setup right on the lake! It’s beautiful! She has a few kayaks and a paddle board for guests. The weekend we were there was GORGEOUS, meaning the lake was full of boats & jet skis zipping around, making kayaking difficult/almost impossible. Next time, we’d definitely look into a boat rental to fully enjoy the lake. Two things to note: going with a pet is a little inconvenient as you need to walk them down the street to go potty. Also, the location isn’t private with the host living onsite. Rhonda is a gem, however! The apartment itself was very clean & stayed cool despite the 90*+ outside. I wish there were a few more spots to hang wet bathing suits/towels.

I booked Andrew’s place at the very minute. Andrew accepted our booking and when we got there, it was an amazing place with an amazing view. The place has all the amenities for 4 families to stay. All our family members loved the separate cabins for the privacy yet we spent significant amount of time in the main house. The place had multiple outdoor activities ready for us. It is a safe and quiet place. Andrew/hosts were super fast at responding to our requests and flexible. I already recommended this to my families and planning to book again in the near future. Thank you for everything and we are already planning to come back soon.

Used for 4 nights for 7 family members family get-together (need to plan and book on ad-hoc basis). Each and Every member insisted me to provide 5 overall rating. My Daughters of age 13 and 10 also mentioned that they are going to highly recommend to friends once school re-open after ongoing summer vacation. Beautiful house perfect for our girls getaway, however, it was s very tight squeeze for 12 since 2 adults on a double bunk didn’t really work but there was lots of couch space & the couches were so comfortable! The house was very updated & clean. It was perfect for our girls getaway & downtown Saugatuck was so fun!

This was our second stay at Hany’s place, and we would come back a third time! Nice house with a few quirks in a great location. The outdoor space and hot tub is great for Michigan weather any time of the year, and inside there is plenty of space for our family of four. The location is wonderful, with all of Saugatuck within just a few blocks. We will definitely consider staying here again next time we’re headed to Michigan!

We loved our stay at this property right in front of the beach! Dan was great to communicate with and answered the few questions/concerns promptly and thoroughly. The condo was as described & pictured - clean, spacious, and well-stocked. We used the TV to browse different streaming services and enjoyed the easily accessible fireplace. The beds were quite comfortable and the two bathrooms were great to split up. Hopefully, we will return with more family in the near future!

We had a lovely family reunion at St Joe’s overlook. Kitchen came with literally everything- all sorts of cooking instruments (crock pot, air fryer, toaster etc), spices/oils, and zip lock bags for leftovers. All brand new appliances and ample prep space. We got the pool heated and it was wonderful! Very large size to fit all the family kids. The hot tub was a nice save for the adults who were freezing. Beautiful views from the living room of the river with ample and comfy seating. The home was perfect for a large gathering. We appreciate Evan and Claire hosting us they were always responsive and helpful.

Great host!! Great location!! Great property!! We came in town for a golf trip and this property was a perfect location and comfortable. Nice to start each morning with a quick walk to the beach and watch the sun rise over the lake. Would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to anyone looking to stay in the area.

John and Valentino have a beautiful home that is welcoming and comfortable. Their yard is large and ready for company. The fire pit is perfectly placed, the bbq makes it easy to cook for a crowd. And if it is a crowd you’re cooking for, the weather need not matter… the two kitchens allow for lots of cooking no matter the time of year. Rarely do I find a comfortable bed when I travel, but John and Valentino have it. Downtown was a few minutes drive away. There is a large playground right downtown which had tons of kids playing! With lots of shopping and restaurant options, cooking is not required. Definitely stop by the Farmhouse Deli in Douglas. The home felt comfortable and also elegant. We were so pleased to stay with them and hope to do so again.
