Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Lake Macatawa

We were having a party right down the street and used this place for our overnight guests. They were so happy to be nearby. We just needed some extra beds and this home was very convenient and far less expensive and more comfortable than a hotel. I just inspected it briefly but it seemed clean, pleasant and comfortable. Thank you!

Charming house with enough room for our family of six with room to spare. Fenced yard for the dogs. Hot tub was great. Walked to lake to see beautiful sunsets. We decided to drive but town can be walked to also. John was very accommodating when we had to switch our house from another area the DAY BEFORE to John's house. We would come back.

Clean and cute place. My wife and friends stayed for a girls weekend. House was nice and in a decent neighborhood.

This home was great, it is exactly as the pictures and description. House is beautifully decorated and fully stocked, up to even a charcuterie board! The hot tub was absolutely amazing to unwind in the evening, we loved that the outdoor lights came on, on a timer, and we enjoyed the large fire pit for our smores dessert. The beds are great, bathrooms even stocked with amenities you would need. 100% recommend this home! We were a group of 7 ladies doing a wine weekend, and everyone suggested coming back next year and spending more time just enjoying the home. Thanks Tony and team!

Loved our stay at this home! The hosts were friendly and helpful. The space was clean and cute with added catering to children which was appreciated.

Cannot say enough how much we loved this home. Most AirBnBs stock their house with the cheapest stuff you could find. It's all surface level and fake. This house felt like coming home, and we just slipped comfortably into staying there. It was AMAZING for our kids. Lots of toys, a bunk bed, sound machine, crib, playground, so much. And a park a quick walk away through a quiet neighborhood. Probably the most we've enjoyed an AirBnB. Just cannot say enough good about it. Had everything we needed to cook meals. Just so good.

Fabulous girls getaway weekend! This place was AMAZING. Spacious layout and beautifully decorated. Walkable to downtown South Haven. The 3.5 bathrooms was a nice perk for 9 women. We loved the kitchen island for socializing and stocked cupboards, as well as the long dining table for board games. The TV was great in the living room for movie night. A huge bonus was the hot tub - we went in it every night. Long driveways fit all of our cars. Tom was quick to respond and very helpful. Highly recommend if you are on the fence to just go ahead and book this place, you will have the best time!

Most Airbnb's you go to or hotels the beds are like rocks. Here they are actually super comfy. The place was clean and spacious. Gave you enough silverware, pot/pans, and utensils to use if you wanted to cook there. Overall, great stay!

Upon arrival, there was some kind of misunderstanding with the cleaning people and it looked like our unit was not cleaned prior to arriving. We arrived pretty late but Michael responded very fast to my message and was able to get this taken care of right away for us. He was very accommodating and helpful. He sent multiple messages prior to the arrival date with helpful instructions on entering the unit and parking. The space itself was great and perfect for two people. Walking distance from the little downtown area and the river. We enjoyed our time in South Haven and would stay here again if we ever visited again!

I greatly enjoyed my stay at Ronda's place! The bed was extremely comfortable, the kitchen well equipped, and the bathtub was a delight to use. It was a perfect space for a little weekend getaway; many restaurants and beach access within easy driving distance. There is not a ton of natural lighting, unless you leave the french door curtains open. I found having to compromise privacy for natural light to be a little disappointing, but I had a wonderful time. I would stay here again!

The accommodation is nice. It is clean, and the space is cosy and well kept. Catch the sunset from the sitting rooms, they are beautiful.

Justine was so responsive from the moment I booked until the day we checked in. Whenever she responded to a question, you could almost “hear the smile on her face” - she was very kind. We would definitely recommend working with Justine as well as staying in the Family Flat location. It was beautiful, comfortable, clean, homey, and in an amazing location.

We came to Kalamazoo for a weekend, and had a very relaxing stay at Kaydee's place. We would happily return for future visits. Clean, comfy and close to downtown!

This is our second stay at Kayla‘s place. I love staying at Kayla’s it’s very walkable to many wonderful restaurants and shops. The neighborhood is very quiet. Her place is spotless and beds are so comfortable.

We loved staying here! The bed and pillows are very comfortable, the place is cozy. It’s in a safe area! Andrew and his cohost were more than helpful for our trip, they even left us farm fresh eggs! Will definitely be back and 10/10 recommend to anyone interested in staying 😊

My boys are in their 20’s and still thought the climbing wall and slide (for smaller kids) was great. Plenty of space for us all. Good place to gather as well. Close to a nice walk/run by the water

Desirees place was perfect! Literally looked like the pictures; comfortable, spacious and very clean. Great location! Can't wait to visit again-totally recommend staying here!

Nice condo in heart of Douglas. Would be great place during the "on season". I was there due to a power failure and its the off season so there's not many people around. Very clean place, newer appliances and great internet. Would rent again.

This place was great! The space was clean and cozy and we definitely hope to come visit again. We also enjoyed the small cafe/market nearby. Mike was a kind and responsive host, too!

Very clean, super beautiful spot. The whole city is walkable and as pet friendly as Brenden's place. Though, Brenden set a new standard for me when it comes to communication and customer service. There was a freak gas outage for over 5500 homes and businesses this weekend. And, even though this was something that was completely out of their control, we were met with empathy and compassion. Knowing we were there for a wedding we were generously offered to shower at Brenden 's home.. And, even though it wasn't expected and they certainly didn't have to, Brenden refunded us some money for the inconvenience. To me, it says a lot about a person to do the right thing even when they don't have to. Long story, short...this is an amazing place to book with incredible customer service!

Steve was an amazing host to work with. There ended up being a gas leak that affected the first night of our stay and Steve was very communicative and made the process easy to get situated. The condo itself is very spacious and clean, and in a beautiful area. We are already thinking about coming back!
