The location and view were incredible! The townhouse was very comfortable, beds were comfortable, most amenities were provided. We were there for a wedding, so we did not get to enjoy the water, but it seemed to be very accessible and kayaks were available if we had had the time. All in all, just what we were looking for!

This home was perfect for our multi generational family trip to the Atlanta area. The home is in a very high end and beautiful neighborhood of expensive homes. Rod had clear instructions for our arrival and the home was very clean. The furniture was comfortable and there were enough seating spots for our large group. We were very very satisfied with our stay and strongly recommend Rods place to anyone.

We had 14 women for a weekend getaway. The property is just as the photos indicate., stunning! The river is a distance away but you can hear the rush of the river clearly. The walk down to the river is not “ a walk in the park” it is a nicely cleared path down a mountainside with ropes at the steepest parts with a nice layer of gravel which helps. They provide walking sticks for 10, and I found the one I used to be very helpful ( 64 y.o.) The kitchen was well equipped and made it easy to prepare for 14 people. The living areas were very comfortable and the dining area was spectacular. The sofa beds were, well sofa beds. I probably wouldn’t plan for us to use those for adults again, but that is literally the only “con” I could find because everything else was just perfect!

This beautiful villa provides a scenery of the great outdoors through the abundance of large windows in the living room space. The open floor plan provides a great space for socializing with friends and family. The arched living room provides a gas fireplace, an amazing chandelier, and elevated treetop views. Laughing Fox Den displays lovely wood-paneled ceilings throughout, renovated upscale kitchen featuring granite countertops and a coffee bar area with both a Drip Coffee Maker and a Keurig K-cup. The dining room includes a table that seats four, with additional seating area for two at the kitchen counter. The main level features two bedrooms with one queen bed each with vaulted ceilings and modern bedding. The upstairs area includes a relaxing king bed and has an attached bathroom. Off the living area, an entertainment-oriented screened porch is perfect for relaxing with friends, reading a book, or enjoying a movie night on the outdoor TV. Outside the porch has a grilling area with comfortable seating to relax and enjoy nature. Parking is directly in front on a private parking pad for two cars, accessed by a short flight of stairs. A beautiful footpath leads guests from the front of the cabin to the back, where they can sit by the creek if desired. **PLEASE NOTE ** THERE ARE 2 PARKING SPACES AND SEVERAL STEPS DOWN TO THE FRONT DOOR. Big Canoe is conveniently located 25 minutes from downtown Jasper, Ball Ground, 40 minutes from Ellijay, and less than an hour to Blue Ridge. There are several wineries nearby to explore as well. RESORT PERKS (add'l fee may apply, paid on-site): Golf course, tennis court, pickleball courts, bocce ball courts, outdoor and indoor pool, hiking trail network, lake access w/ paddle boats, pontoon boats, kayaks, stand up paddleboards and beach, fitness center, shopping and dining, playground. Activities in Big Canoe such as golf, tennis, fitness center, swimming, etc. have additional cost associated with them. PLEASE NOTE - MOTORCYLCES, RV'S AND BRINGING YOUR OWN GOLF CART ARE NOT ALLOWED IN BIG CANOE
