"Simply Beautiful". A simple and beautiful place to stay. Extremely clean, we'll organized and very cozy. With calm and peaceful surroundings, this property is conveniently located for trips in any direction. Stephen was a very kind and generous host. I would highly recommend this property and this gracious host to everybody!

This was our second time staying at Firefly Hideaway and it was just as wonderful as the first time! Great house, very clean, easy to find, great location. We’ll be back again next year!

This is definitely a nice place to stay with kids and families … we didn’t want to leave! And the horses were such a highlight to watch in the field behind the house morning and night! We will definitely be staying in this house agian!

Absolutely BEAUTIFUL stay! I booked this sweet little cabin for my mom & sister during their visit from Florida to meet their grandson/nephew! It was perfect for our family gathering. Peaceful, serene, had all the amenities needed to cook in the kitchen, towels were available, TV & fireplace work great. Zachary was available by messenger for any questions! The only semi-cons is that the driveway is VERY steep. I’m a local, so this kind of driveway was no big deal for me, but for someone from Florida it may be scary to drive up. The hot tub was not clean/didn’t appear to be clean so we never used it. Bummer. Ultimately, i think the pros outweigh the cons of this place. It’s a beautiful place for family to gather!

Great host! Wonderful week in Waynesville/ Lake Junaluska. Definitely would stay again

The day we checked in was the night just before Helene hit Asheville. We lost power on the second day, but luckily Lynn and Bill have a generator that secured our usage of power throughout the next a few days. On the third day, we lost the network. But the magical Lynn and Bill had a starlink that kept us connected to the outside world! The network not only kept us informed about the latest news, but also enabled us to send out important messages to the parents for some Asheville School students, so their parents could arrange picking up their children the moment they received the message. We literally became the information distribution center between the students and their parents. Can't thank Lynn and Bill enough for their support during such difficult time. Forgot to tell you that Lynn and Bill have got a beatuiful house and view, nice settings of everything inside. The days we stayed with Lynn and Bill are unforgettable.

Have been vacationing in Western North Carolina for about 30 years. The Sunset Cottage is one of the most enjoyable places that I have been to. It’s in a beautiful setting, off the beaten path, and you can get to everything conveniently from there. I would like to stay there again!

What a wonderful place! The space is even more spacious than the pictures show on the listing. The hot tub was amazing and felt private. The king bed was extremely comfy! Susan was an excellent communicator and very responsive. There are several boards games their for use that my kiddo really enjoyed!

Beautiful downstairs apartment with private entrance. Felt very private from the main house. Beautifully decorated and comfortable. Large space and spotlessly clean! Lots of thought went into everything you might need. Snacks and drinks in kitchen and bath amenities. Bed was comfortable and linens and pillows top notch. Easy walking distance to beautiful Main Street with great food and shopping.

Beautiful place! Morning coffee on the porch looking at the lovely mountains was great. Sunset over the mountain was spectacular! Mike & Maggie are extremely nice and accommodating. Will definitely stay here again soon!!

We enjoyed our stay! The cabin was very comfortable and cozy. We loved the fireplace! Kitchen was well stocked. As mentioned in the description, there is a garage on the property with an apartment above where the owners stay occasionally. It is located in a community vs remote, so not uber private but still quiet! We would definitely stay here again.

Although we didn’t see any bears me and my friend enjoyed our stay. There was a trail not far for the Airbnb that we chose to hike on our first actual day there and we enjoyed the hot tub after a very strenuous hike. I would 100% book at this Airbnb again.

This home was perfect for our family of 3 teens and 3 adults. It was spacious and clean, we wanted for nothing. All this with a very accommodating, understanding and hospitable owners, who let us stay even after Helene's destruction to their bridge. Thank you for the wonderful stay this Thanksgiving 2024.

Beautiful cabin located in such a relaxing spot. Waking up to hearing the river and looking out the floor to ceiling windows was so worth it. We loved the heated floors, downstairs master with private living area and fire place. Amenities: heated floors in the lower level, rocking chairs, egg swing and hammock for relaxing all day, fire pit with chairs and sticks for s’mores, hot tub (can fit 4 ppl but better for 2), great coffee bar that was stocked. Beds were very comfortable. Only small details missing were we couldn’t find the portable speaker, previous guests left coffee grounds and filter in and it was moldy, some remotes needed new batteries. Bring paper towels for kitchen, lighter for grill and fire pit. Other things to know: Sylva restaurants and breweries tend to close early or stop serving food early. I would assume seasonal but good to know. Very close to hiking and other fun areas like Bryson City, Asheville and Dillsboro. Highly recommend for any season!

The place was great, it had an amazing view, the comunication always on point and fast. Really enjoyed our time in it. Definitely a place i will go back and 100% recommend!

Beautiful cabin and location. Fully loaded kitchen! Plenty of comfortable places sit and relax. The hot tub and Bluetooth speakers were super easy to operate and located right next to the beautiful creek. Perfect place to reset life.

We chose Moonlight Ridge because it looked like a perfect couple's getaway cabin, and it was! We celebrated our 40th wedding anniversary this weekend. The cabin was so cozy, clean and smelled wonderful when we arrived. The welcome amenities were a pleasant surprise, especially since our host didn't know the reason for our visit. Everything is well cared for, and we appreciated the aromatherapy items that were available for use. Patrycja was a responsive host. We hope to visit again.
