Monthly Rentals in Lake James

We had an amazing experience! Spectacular picturesque views of Lake James with mountain backdrops. The host was also very quick to respond with any questions. I would highly recommend this lakehouse paradise. :)

We enjoyed our stay two years ago, and our return stay did not disappoint! Small but impeccably curated space, with all you need for a quiet weekend away. Shortoff remains one of our favorite hikes, and we love the proximity to Fonta Flora's farm location. Thanks again!

I would book at the Little Cabin a thousand times. Not only was the place beautiful and felt like home, but Ms. Shannon was so sweet! Anything I could have wanted their for my honeymoon was already in place. We was late getting there due to storms and life happening, so she even put a pizza in there just in case we got hungry! You can tell she genuinely cares about people. Book with her and you definitely won't regret it!

This was our first visit to Lake James and as we are used to renting nice houses in the mountains this place was no exception! The house and the setting were absolutley amazing and we had a great weekend at the lake. The house is located in a beautiful wooded area with the lake within a very close walking distance. There is a trail behind the house that leads to miles of trails to hike or jog. You can even walk to a nearby brewery called Fonta Flora as it takes about 35 minutes on the trail. The beds and linens in the house are exceptional quality for getting a much needed rest after a busy day. The kitchen has everything to prepare meals and the backyard was a great place to hang out and relax as it is very private. I also wish to thank Lisa as she was the perfect host. I had a few questions and she was very friendly and fast to respond to me.
