A perfect desert oasis surrounded by mountains. The house was well equipped and had so much to offer a family travelling with kids. Tatiana was very responsive and is an excellent host, would recommend this stay to anyone heading to Borrego.

Very cool unique spot loved the bathroom shower pebble floor and stone work. I’m a master plumber and appreciate unique bathrooms lol. While place had a castle suite feel to it and there’s a chunky grey/white cat that’s very friendly and likes long slow back strokes

Really enjoyed spending Christmas with family in Mary’s home. She is a very detailed host. Lots of extra Christmas touches like plates of goodies, hot chocolate and coffee bar to make it feel homey. Floors and bathrooms were squeaky clean. Thanks a lot from The Giesbrecht’s & Baerg’s

We had a great stay-well worth it! The home is beautiful, with excellent amenities for the whole family. The adults, kids, and even our dog loved it. The pool and jacuzzi were amazing and made the stay even more relaxing. It was a wonderful experience overall. While it's a bit of a drive to get back into town, the privacy and peaceful setting more than make up for it. The house has everything you need-so much you won't even want to leave. Highly recommend!

Great place! We stayed there for a college visit to SDSU and found that the location was excellent. It was pretty convenient to everywhere - beach, little Italy, airport, old town. The area is quiet and comfortable - walking distance to a grocery store and good restaurants just minutes away. The house is clean and spacious with plenty of room for everybody and everything you need. Our host was quick to respond, friendly, and accommodating. Love San Diego! Hoping my daughter commits to SDSU - would definitely stay here again.

In all honesty was a wonderful time and space i feel john may have jumped the gun on cleaning fee as an extra 25 for the last guest mess was uncalled for we did arrive to a very dirty hot tub which we spent 4 hours cleaning and we left it clean for the next guests as well, the previous guests had coffee and stained there countertop for which we were blamed for also was a small amount of coffee grounds pushed to the corner from the last guests. my wife works in housekeeping and we aim to keep the place we stay the way we found it we went above and beyond cleaning tub for next guests, overall it is a magical place and john deserves his credit for providing a great stay dont be afraid of my review as it was well worth it and just ask john to communicate by phone if he has any issues, would stay again and recommend julian and wynola are beautiful thanks john no hard feelings bud

What a find! After a physical day of hiking at Anza Borrega, this is the perfect place to relax and renew. This is a beautifully decorated Casita with comfortable furnishings. And Heather has provided everything you need, from the thoughtful bathroom products to the coffee and snacks. Did I mention the views of the nearby mountains? Wow! My husband and I will certainly stay here again if we ever get back to the area. Tip: delicious food at Red Ocotillo restaurant.

Those who love nature, quiet, and beautifully decorated and loved family home environment will cherish this country home! Perfect for a gathering of family or dear friends, and for those who have little need for external attractions beyond beautiful countryside, trails to explore, and time to enjoy being together with loved ones. Main floor has a bedroom and bathroom for elders or others who don't do stairs. Main floor rooms and outside are all easily accessible as well. We can't thank the host/hostess enough for sharing their little bit of paradise with us!

Perfect stay! Casa Del Sol is spotless, comfortable, and exactly as advertised. It was the perfect base for our Anza‑Borrego trip—set in a super‑quiet neighborhood, only two minutes from town, and only ten minutes to the Anzo Borrego State Park Visitor Center. The house is spotless and well‑equipped, with comfy memory‑foam beds, a fully stocked kitchen (great coffee bar!), fast Wi‑Fi, and plenty of games. Wade and Betsy were on top of communication during our entire stay, making sure we had everything we needed. Would definitely return!

Backyard oasis for the win! Great communication with host. Most well equipped rental we've ever stayed at. Perfect for those traveling with smaller children as well as teens. It was the perfect place for a week-long stay. We had everything we could possibly need: a fully equipped kitchen with all the dishes and utensils, a bathroom with heating, a comfortable bed, and some unique furniture from around the world. Janet kindly let us pick fruit from her garden, and the oranges and lemons were delicious! When we missed our flight and called her from the airport, Janet generously let us stay one more night. Thank you Janet for your hospitality!

This is hands down one of the best stays my husband and I have ever had! Not only was the place super easy to find, but it was well stocked, clean and comfortable. The host, Connie, was extremely kind and flexible with us when our check in was late. She made us feel right at home and the value of the stay far exceeds the price. I highly recommend their granny flat in La Mesa and hope I can come back again very soon!!

Great stay! Jack was very responsive and welcoming. The place was very cozy and looks just like the pictures. Smooth process throughout the whole stay.

Elyce was an awesome host. Everything that was described was spot on. We enjoyed the horses that we were allowed to feed. Would definitely recommend this place and would also book her place in the future!!!

We live in the area and originally booked for 30-days while our home was being renovated. Renovations took a bit longer then expected and we extended to 5-weeks. Hosts were very accommodating to our changing dates. Home was perfect for our stay. Couldn't of asked for a better place for our home away from home!

Laura met me when I checked in to ensure I had a seamless check-in. She always made sure I felt at home. She gives guests privacy and is available to answer questions.

I really enjoyed my time here. It was extremely close to the San Diego Zoo and only a short drive from the downtown area. I felt very safe and Qiana was extremely thoughtful. She even provided a high chair for my baby which was helpful since I wasn’t able to pack my own. The place was spacious and had everything we needed. My husband was even able to work from home one day thanks to the fast WiFi and work station set up.
