Cabin vacation rentals in Lake City

We stayed 5 days while exploring the surrounding area and it was a great home base. The location was easy to walk to downtown, easy to get to lots of surrounding hikes, and also still quiet. The place had everything we needed, blankets, cookware, and even shampoo and soap. Definitely would recommend.

Stunningly beautiful Colorado mountain scenery right in the backyard. The cabin was beautiful, well appointed and well kept. Such a sweet setup with so much to do and see especially for outdoor enthusiasts. You can drive the mountain roads, hike, fish or just sit on the porch and gawk at the amazing “back yard”. Highly recommend this place!!

I had a wonderful stay at Melissa’s Airbnb! The place was clean, cozy, and exactly as described in the listing. Melissa was a great host—friendly, responsive, and made sure everything went smoothly from check-in to check-out. The location was convenient and quiet, perfect for a relaxing getaway. I’d definitely recommend staying here and would love to come back in the future!

This was the perfect combination between low key cozy cabin and high quality luxurious amenities. I would highly recommend staying here if you're looking for a peaceful and comfortable getaway. The beds, couches, pillows, blankets & fire place were superbly clean and comfy. We spent a lot of time cooking in the open plan kitchen with a great counter to hang at while someone else cooks. It was stocked with every cooking utensil you could need. We loved having multiple "outdoor" areas - obviously outside around the house, the "Greenhouse" which felt a bit like a sauna and the beautiful porch overlooking the Rio Grande. It has a barb wire fence around the property to keep your dog fenced in (the fence does not exist around the side of the house that goes towards the river though FYI). The property was peaceful and private. There are many other houses in the area but across the river on the other side of the hill. The cabin stayed warm with use of the fireplaces and hosts were responsive.

This space is so much bigger than expected!! The couch was super nice and comfy and reclined 🤩 loved the patio space too. It was great for having 5 people in there. So walkable to anything but that’s also Lake City since it’s small. It was really great.

The place is gorgeous, the surroundings are incredible, just feel right in the middle of the nature, great service and a really nice host, always looking for a great experience, I would definitely come back again.

This cabin was perfect! It was cozy and was big enough. Bed was comfortable and the room has a small refrigerator. Bathrooms and showers are very clean and located near each cabin. This is a great place to stay at when visiting Ouray!

I’ve stayed here twice now, in the rustic cabins in the RV lot. It’s an amazing location with its view and the river/creek near by for background noise. Also, the fact I can bring my dog makes everything even better! ($100 deposit) Only thing I’d say - be sure you know youre staying at a RV park/camp site (shared bathrooms a short walk away, no easy access to drinking water, won’t be “private”) I love this cabin, this location in Ouray, and I’m sure I’ll stay again in future !

Great cabin! Close to town! We decided on a last minute get away and this was a perfect cabin for my husband, myself and my mom, and our dog. It never felt crowded with all of us. Has everything you could possibly need and the beds are comfortable and the whole cabin felt nice and clean. Enjoyed the spacious from porch and the parking is right next to the front door so that was convenient also.

Had a great time. The house was perfect for 8 of us. Very quiet and secure location. Would recommend to anyone going to the area. Everything was there that you need except your food and clothes!

Don was personable and proactive from the very get-go, helping us to feel secure and welcome even months ahead of time. The location itself was beautiful, with a view of the lake from the firepit, firewood provisions overflowing. There were neighbors nearby, but it was still a private and relatively large piece of beautiful personal property. Our kids loved the firepit, the hammock, the canoes (life jackets provided). Inside, we were greeted with a space that felt luxurious, outdoorsy, and "home-y." The kitchen had all high-quality amenities (save a dishwasher). Hot and cold water, all was from a filtered well that was drinkable. The livingroom was surprisingly spacious, with a fireplace that loved sitting by morning an evening. There were hundreds of DVDs, books, and even family boardgames. The entire house shone it's proud history with outdoorsy keepsakes, 100 year old newspapers, paintings. The beds were all incredibly comfortable; It was the best sleep I'd had in months.

This is our family‘s favorite place to stay! We’ve had several family reunions here and it is a beautiful place. The cabins are very nice and clean. The fishing is exceptional! it is truly one of Colorado’s best kept secrets!

Beautiful cabin sitting right on the river within minutes of trails and town. Truly perfect location!

This cabin was perfect for me and my 14 friends to stay at for our ski trip to Wolf Creek. The drive is about 50 minutes to Wolf Creek, but this cabin is definitely worth the drive if you’re looking for a place that can accommodate a large group. The owners are extremely nice and friendly and I would recommend this cabin to everyone.

This quirky little cabin was perfect for our family! It had so much character and charm. It is a small building, but the space is used with logic and intention. We had everything we needed. The location was excellent for walking downtown, to the hot springs, the box canyon, the perimeter trail, cascade falls, etc. We brought our bikes and were able to store them in the basement when we weren't using them. We were too early for the mountain bike trails (May 1 open), but we were able to hop on our bikes and ride all the way to Ridgway along CR 17.
