Ich war jetzt schon zum zweiten Mal dort. Diesmal in beiden Etagen. Die beiden Wohnung sind sehr schön, sauber und ordentlich. Die Gastgeber sind mega freundlich und hilfsbereit. Immer wieder gern 💪🏻

Big family, initially was worried about space and if everyone would be comfortable. the place turned out perfect, made break fast at home easily for the kids and elderly folks with the fresh produce bought nearby! superb experience!

Micky is a great host! One of a kind! From the first day that we exchanged messages till the last day of our stay, she has been nothing but responsive, kind and considerate! Her recommendations were AMAZING, considering that we are a relatively large group of 5 adults and 2 toddlers! She even went that extra mile to help us to source for activities that were suitable for our twins! Even after we had checked-in, she made sure that we were well settled and gifted us the yummiest belgium waffles the next day together with books suitable for our twins to read during their stay! My twins still calls her home the "pretty house"! The home was so cosy and perfect for our 6 nights stay! Imagine the space our twins had to play and run after each other! The kitchen was well-equipped and we had everything that we needed for home cooked meals! The entire home was clean and there was also a vacuum cleaner provided! And if you have the chance, please book the private chef experience!! AMAZING!!

Wir haben zum Abschluss unserer Japanreise 5 Tage in Ikuyos Wohnung verbracht. Es war die geräumigste Unterkunft, die wir während unserer Reise hatten, perfekt für uns als Familie. Wir haben uns über die Möglichkeit, Essen zu kochen, und den großen Tisch gefreut. Auch sonst fanden wir die Einrichtung durchdacht und praktisch, mit diversen Möglichkeiten, Dinge abzulegen oder aufzuhängen. Man gelangt vom Bahnhof schnell mit zur Wohnung, und die Anbindung an Sehenswürdigkeiten ist gut. Die Straße ist wirklich laut, wie auch schon in anderen Kommentaren erwähnt. Auch mit geschlossenen Fenstern hört man den Verkehr. Wir haben trotzdem gut geschlafen, und die Klimaanlage hat für angenehme Temperaturen gesorgt.

The home was beautiful and worked for my family of 5. The host provided a nice assortment of refreshments in the refrigerator which was nice to have after our short walk from the station. My wife and I used the bedroom on the ground floor. The bed was very comfy and it was private from the main sleeping area upstairs where our children slept. The kitchen could work for a meal but there are many restaurants close by. One night. We ate at “the perfect” restaurant one block away….you pass by it from the train station. If you really want to experience a neighborhood restaurant, I recommend. It wasn’t until we started translating the menu that I realized the sign out front wasn’t advertising yakatori specials…but all you can drink specials. lol! It was loud, fun, a little smoky and the food was good and authentic. Get the sashimi course. The sauna and plunge pool was amazing to have at the end of each day too! Bicycle rental shop and 7-11 are steps away.

The house is very clean. Useful amenities and one of the best bathrooms. Best for elderly guests since no need to use any stairs. Walking distance to Dainachi station.

We stayed for two weeks with two adults and a child and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The space is well-equipped but compact, which we’re accustomed to, and the outdoor area and washer were great bonuses. The location is excellent—a short walk to Shin-Osaka Station (8 minutes) or the metro station (5 minutes). There are plenty of convenience stores nearby, as well as many restaurants within walking distance.

May was terrific. If you want to live like a local in a high-end apartment, this place is it. Beautifully decorated. No shoes. Proper heated bathtub. 4 floor walkup. Not a place for big suitcases as staircase is very narrow by USA standards but spacious in the rooms with large closets. The tatami bedroom is lovely. But for those who want a western bed, the 2 small singles with very firm mattresses are an alternative.

Comfortabel appartment met een super dakterras (wel twee etages hoger). Alle dagen op het terras ontbeten. Prachtig overzicht over de stad. Sumi was zeer informatief en heeft ons zelfs naar het station gebracht. Aanrader om te doen: fietsen huren bij Cycle Garden (zit om de hoek) en langs de rivieren fietsen.

die Unterkunft ist sehr schön, ein tolles Erlebnis insgesamt. die Umgebung hat auch viel zu Fuß zu bieten. einziger Minuspunkt waren die Haare bei der Bettwäsche die nicht von uns stammen. Ansonsten kann ich die Unterkunft sehr weiterempfehlen.

Fantastic and very accessible location in buzzing area of Gion and the wider Kyoto region with great views of the river yet quiet and relaxing. Hosts are wonderfully proactive, providing everything you need pre, during and post our stay. We loved the place and the hosts were outstanding. The hosts were incredibly kind and welcoming, which made the experience feel warm and personal. The space was clean, quiet, and had everything I needed. It was also a great way to experience a more local and authentic side of Kyoto. I’m really grateful for their hospitality and would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful stay.

Es war alles sehr entspannt! Nicht nur war die Vermieterin sehr zuvorkommend, sondern die Lage ist auch sehr gut. Es war ein eher lokaler Ort, an dem es nicht viele Touristen gab und ist nur 3 Minuten von der Hankyu Line (welche günstiger ist als JR) entfernt, wodurch man innerhalb von 10min nach Osaka-Umeda (Downtown) kommt. Es gab eine kleine Mikrowelle, einen Wasserkocher und einen Kühlschrank (sehr klein, war aber kein Problem). Es war sehr sauber, modern und auch Platz gab es genug. Auch kleinere Mengen Wäsche, könnten wir problemlos waschen, da es auch einen kleinen Trockner gab. Insgesamt hat uns das Appartement sehr gut gefallen und wenn sich die Gelegenheit ergibt, kommen wir wieder.

We had a great time at this apartment! This was the perfect place to stay in Kyoto. there is a ton to do in the immediate area around the neighborhood and May was an amazing host!

We had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb in Kyoto! The place was spotless, comfortable, and very convenient—located in a great area that made it easy to explore the city. Our host, Ka, was incredibly helpful and responsive throughout the stay, which made everything even smoother. Highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Kyoto!

May is an excellent host . lots of great eating in a short walk in every direction. The apartment was exceptionally clean and May went out of her way to help us with any request we made. thankyou May.

5 star to everything! the host, the unit, the location, the communication etc. The unit is spacious enough for four adults, it is clean, quite, We found it to be an easy walk to downtown anywhere. The host is very responsive, communicated well before making the check-in process and stay very smoothy. If we could come again to kyoto we will definitely stay May’s unit ! Thank you May!

Lovely place to stay - clean, big, and very well equipped!

Nicely designed building. Room is tight but cozy. Toilet has heater which is extremely useful in winter. Need to walk a fair distance to the closest train stations.

This accommodation is perfectly located, walking distance from Kyoto station. plenty of food and drinks in the area. plenty of space in the apartment for a little family.
