Vacation rentals in Lake Bassola

We stay in the general area at least twice a year for fishing trips to a nearby lake and this by far has been one of the best experiences we have had. Dezerae was very responsive from start to finish; she was able to provide for us having two vehicles and a boat that would need charging as well as checking in with us during the stay to ensure we did not need anything. Check in was a breeze, and the accommodations were just as listed and described. Again, one of the best experiences we have had, and hope to book with her for our next trip to the area.

Loved the details like: Slippers for us to walk around in, filtered water in the fridge, HOT water :), nice clean bedrooms with luggage racks, noise machine and oil diffuser, quiet neighborhood, plenty of towels and blankets available, some exercise equipment set out for use, and smart tvs to enjoy our favorite programs! We really appreciated it all!

Great stay! Thoroughly enjoyed the porch and rocking chairs:). Easy walk to downtown Humboldt. Tasteful Kansas decor, comfortable beds, spacious bathroom and great kitchen. Really enjoyed the fridge amenities;). Hope to stay again next time we are in the area.

Loved this house! It was a mini adventure for me, literally! I’d always been intrigued by tiny houses and this was a great first experience of staying in one. It was both clean and minimalistic, but also lacked for nothing for an overnight stay. It was windy the night I stayed, so I could definitely hear it howling through the night, as well as when it blew small branches against the metal sides of the house. It really didn’t bother me just because I knew it was all part of the experience. Just crank up some white noise on your phone if it bothers you. Paul was very responsive and accommodating. Instructions were super simple and I also appreciated the extra amenities of snacks and bottled water. I’ve told several others about this place already and I can’t wait to return. The only thing that would make me not stay there the next time I’m in Iola is if the rest of my family wants to come along— this is definitely best for a solo retreat!

We loved our stay at Patsy's cottage. Both the cottage and the grounds were beautiful, and we never once felt like we needed to lock our car or the Airbnb. You also hear the cows across the road mooing up a storm, which was actually super relaxing. We plan on coming back to check out the cute pool (closed for the season) and the soapmaking workshop.
