Monthly Rentals in Lake Atitlán

What an unforgettable place. This was truly a garden sanctuary! Sitting on the back porch enjoying the birdsong while looking out over the beautiful flowers/plants to see the lake and the volcano was truly peaceful. I enjoyed walking around the grounds taking pictures of all the flowers. The house had great ventilation and many screened windows to let the breeze through. All amenities listed were provided and the on location support person, Gabi, was a true gem. She met us at the dock and escorted us to the house. She was very easy to communicate with and gave great recommendations for local places to check out.

The place is very nice, perfect to disconnect from the city routine. Dan and the locals were very kind! The kitchen utensils are very characteristic of the place, it really was a great stay! We didn't even want to go out to the village, since we had everything in one place: landscapes, tranquility and a cozy accommodation. Just as a recommendation, if you're going to cook, bring everything you need because otherwise you'll have to go to town to buy it.

We’re so glad we trusted all the other good reviews about this place and decided to book a 1 month stay at Ada’s!! This place truly deserves all the praises it receives. We didn’t know where exactly to stay in Lake Atitlan, we wanted to be somewhere peaceful but still have the convenience of groceries/restaurants nearby. Ada’s place is perfect for this! Also, there’s an incredible beach that’s a 25 min walk from the property. It’s in the opposite direction of town and because of that, you’ll often get the beach to yourself. The Bistro Isabela nearby offered fantastic pastas & was a lovely treat being only 4 min walk. The walk into town is about 20 min but we never had a problem catching a tuk tuk on the days we felt too lazy to walk. The Airbnb was very clean and felt like home! Ada was such a wonderful host, always attentive to our needs. She also has extra kitchen appliances if you like to cook! Just ask to borrow the food processor or instant pot :) she is so friendly and helpful! 🙏🏼

We loved our stay! The hosts are very communicative and helpful. Check in instructions were clear and communicated well beforehand, and if any issues came up they were sorted immediately (we ran out of gas for the stove at one point, and it was fixed and replaced within 15 minutes!). The gardener was super nice and checked in on us regularly. The views are incredible and the house is comfortable. The wifi was strong and consistent for remote work. Definitely bring things from the supermarket prior to arrival so you don't have to boat back and forth. It's an eco house, so yes there are bugs, but nothing scary or that really impacted our experience. It's a really great spot if you're looking to escape!
