Vacation rentals with beach access in Lake Atitlán

Samuel was super accommodating and let us check in earlier than we were supposed to which we really appreciated. Super responsive and offered us recommendations! Highly recommend staying at this airbnb!

The only regret we had with my family was not staying there for longer. Omar and his helper were amazing at helping us get anything we needed. The apartment was so beautiful, the view was amazing as well. It is a great place to relax and have fun at the same time. The only thing that we had a problem with and it is NOT the host’s fault was that we didn’t have power until like 7pm and I believe the whole town didn’t have power either. But it was a great time overall. we only stayed one night and we already think that one WEEK won’t be enough to be there either!!! They helped us find a reasonable boat ride that even included a tour at San Juan La Laguna that was so fun! I cannot wait to go back to this place.

It's even more beautiful than in the photos and I'd go back a thousand times!! Pros: You can see the sunrise from the balcony and be surrounded by nature throughout your stay. The landscapes are beautiful!! The restaurant food is rich. Direct lake access. Public boats always pass by, so you can get around easily. Cons: You may encounter large spiders and scorpions, so be prepared mentally. You have to climb several stairs to get to the room.

We had a lovely stay here on Lake Aitlan. It was so homely, Nico was very welcoming when we first arrived and throughout the trip, along with Venus and Mary - they were all so helpful. The views were incredible for the platform and so relaxing! All the villages were in easy reach via boat or tuk tuk. I would highly recommend this place if you are looking to be surrounded by a lovely community in a peaceful location.

Kenny was super friendly and attentive, he gave us very good advice. The accommodation is just as shown in the photos, very clean, comfortable and with a spectacular view, also, very central, the public pier is a few meters away and full of restaurants around.

Great Airbnb even provided us with a private pick up that was a great little tour and helpful. If you are a warm body there is a fan but you could get hot. Shower has hot water and TV works perfectly as well as WiFi. It is a little far walk from the Main Street Santander but doable only thing about where it’s located is a little hard to describe to a tuk tuk where you’re going and they rarely pass by the street so you can wave them down to take. But overall great experience.

This place was just as described! This place was so peaceful and calm, it was perfect to get away from the busy towns nearby. The only slight inconvenience was having to find a tuktuk to get to the nearby towns as they were not walking distance. We had to start walking until a tuktuk became available. Overall I would totally recommend this place!

What a great stay! Nelson made sure we had everything we needed, every question was answered and resolved. We loved all the great amenities of the house and felt right at home. We had an unforgettable stay at this stunning home on Lake Atitlán. The views of the lake and volcanoes are truly breathtaking — photos can’t capture just how magical it feels in person. The house itself is beautifully designed, incredibly comfortable, and perfect for spending a relaxing week. The kitchen is well-stocked, which made it easy to cook and enjoy meals at home. It is a bit of a hike up to the house, but Ventura (the house manager), his son Randy, and Captain Martín made our arrival and departure seamless. In my opinion, as long as you’re physically able to walk up to the house on your own — about a five-minute uphill hike after taking a tuctuc as far as the street will take you — you’ll be totally fine. They provided plenty of help with bags and anything else we needed both on the way in and out, so it wasn’t an issue for us at all. Restaurants and stores in town close early, so good to keep some food and snacks in the house. Once you arrive you won’t want to leave!

Augustus’s place is a dream location in Lake Atitlan. San Marcos La Laguna is a great place to get away of the hustle and bustle of other towns, while still remaining close to the lake and maintaining the ability to bop around easily. With a dock just 30 seconds away, you have easy transport to any other area on the lake. We also enjoyed the peace and privacy of the location. The space and property were beautiful and we could tell very well taken care of and well-loved. The views were immaculate. The decor and craftsmanship blew us away. What took our stay to the next level was Augustus’s kindness and hospitality leading up to and throughout our stay and finally, the wonderful meal his partner cooked for us on our last morning. My lifelong girlfriends and I will remember this trip forever. If you’re looking to make magical memories and take in nature’s beauty, this is the place!

The pictures don’t do enough justice — this place is absolute incredible and beautiful! My husband and I really enjoyed our stay here. Andrea was super nice enough to accommodate an early check in and provided contact information of the property manager, Alejandra who is SUPER nice! She also gave us contact information for a local Tuk Tuk driver that would take us to the port to take lanchas to surrounding villages in Lake Atitilan. Andrea is also VERY responsive to any questions I had regarding our stay. Overall, it was such a pleasant experience and would totally come back 😊
