Vacation rentals with a hot tub in Lake Arenal

The place was very clean, easy access to the property with private parking. We left very happy and relaxed, the place is very quiet. Alexander was always kind and helpful in answering any questions. We'll definitely be back soon.

From check-in to check-out everything is great. Somewhat remote, but very quiet and private. It is about a 10-minute drive to the next town. Very clean and well decorated place. The highlight was the outdoor hot tub to relax. The bathroom and especially the shower were also a highlight (especially at night). We'd love to come back!

So peaceful, incredible views! We loved being able to open the windows and have fresh air at night. We loved the hot tub. The home is beautifully designed, very comfortable and decorated and Ingrid is an excellent host. Definitely need a 4x4 in Sport mode to manage the short gravel road, but well worth it! About 20- 30 minutes to town. All a part of the adventure!

Our stay was wonderful. The home was very spacious and accommodated our family of 5 perfectly. The host was ultra responsive and very attentive to our needs. He even offered to make reservations for us for dinner. He also provided us with great recommendations. The location was great with plenty of nearby restaurants and attractions. Would definitely stay there again next time we visit La Fortuna.

If you value travel for its cultural exchange, but you still want your own space and privacy, this may be the perfect combination for you. I traveled with my partner and 3 kids to La Fortuna and stayed for 2 nights at Jose’s Genesis house. The house itself had several charms and perks: a pretty pool our young daughters loved, a jacuzzi, fun bunk beds, a washer and dryer, a luxurious shower, great AC, a fully-equipped kitchen… Jose checked on us after we arrived to make sure we had what we needed. We were very comfortable in the space! For us, the included tour offered something unexpected and special. We are Americans with a culture of not wanting to “impose,” feeling impolite even just for talking too long to someone we don’t know well. By the end of our time with Jose and his family, I don’t think it’s a stretch to say that they had invited us into their home as if we, too, were family. I’m still awed by their trust, relaxed ease, and welcoming spirit.

The location was safe and gated. There was a hiccup initially as we were provided instructions to access the wrong lockbox and we should have accessed a second lockbox. The house is 2 down from GPS look for solid silver gate. The place was as described and shown in the photos. There was a minor leak from the roof to the outside of the bathroom on the second floor. The a/c in the house was great and there was a unit in each bedroom. We also scheduled massages with the host. The ladies who arrived worked out all our aches from the many hikes we had from our adventures! Highly recommend!! We also did our laundry at the house there was a washer, dryer and detergent. Everything we needed including dishes, silverware, cups, soap, etc. There are some minor street noise from rowdy cars late night. There is a convenient store thats walkable near by. We were 10-20 minutes from all the major attractions. We would stay here if we ever visit La Fortuna again!

It truly is a little slice of heaven! Pictures don’t come close to doing it justice! We stayed 3 nights. It was easy to get to and close to the La Fortuna area. We can’t recommend pie in the sky enough! From check in to checkout it was wonderful!

Would stay here again in a heartbeat! Nothing beats waking up to these spectacular views! The place is absolutely stunning, perfect for two people to experience the luxury of the area without the resort price tag. The host is amazing, lots of recommendations and very responsive, she even let us check in early when we arrived earlier than expected. The porch is perfect with plenty of space to sit, watch hummingbirds and observe the clouds over the volcano. Also the jacuzzi tub was a bonus. You’d be missing out if you didn’t stay here!

Great central location if you’re wanting to be close to all that La Fortuna has to offer, but far enough away to get some peace and quiet. The hot tub was a much appreciated amenity after several action-filled days. I definitely stay here again if I return to La Fortuna

Can’t thank Genaro and the team enough for this amazing experience. This place is everything we could have hoped for. From location convenience to the private intimate feel, this airbnb did it all. Thanks for everything and we’d love to come back!

Very good location as far as walking to local restaurants and gift shops. The closest restaurant (Traversia) was maybe a two minute walk and it was our favorite one in the area. The host was very responsive and helpful with any questions we had. Parking was a little tricky at first but the host walked us through it and we had our own driveway and gate. The unit we were in was very nice and the outdoor private pool and hot tub was extremely unique.

My family and I had a great stay at Daniel's place. Daniel and his cohosts went above and beyond to make our stay extra pleasurable. They were very attentive, responsive and helped out immensely with food recommendations and transportation. Daniel's home was clean, spacious and comfortable. The jacuzzi and seating area on the upper level was very serene, relaxing and scenic. Daniel also coordinated massages for my family on the upper level and it was a very tranquil experience. Having a washer and dryer in the home was a huge plus. The neighborhood for the most part was quiet. There were a few dogs and a cat that would come around the property often. They were friendly and my children quickly befriended them. Overall, we had an amazing experience and I would highly recommend.

Areli’s place was absolutely beautiful! She was super responsive and helpful with local recommendations. She booked an ATV excursion for me and my family. I would absolutely recommend her beautiful home and look forward to booking again in the future.

This is One of the best places I have ever stayed. Very peaceful and relaxing place. Close tl everything but very quiet at nights. Direct connection with nature. A lot of birds to see. Location is amazing. Roy give us very good recommendations. This is the place to stay in La Fortuna. Hope to came back!

Very nice hosts and a very peaceful stay! Loved the agriculture and views around the place. Far enough from the crowds but close enough to the town of La fortuna. It was perfect!

We loved this little oasis. jacuzzi awesome. A/c worked great! Hot water and shower were great! Clean! Deck lovely. Bed very comfortable. WiFi was very spotty - hard to access internet readily. Reported to owners. They plan to check into it. I’d recommend a car with decent clearance - road is a bit rocky in parts to get to place However - can hear river, jungle noises, and private beautiful location Would HIGHLY recommend. Close to town La Fortuna ( 5-7 min drive into town,).Can walk to some very good restaurants in neighborhood ! Can walk to coffee shop and convenient store if needed. Close to El Salto, too - fun rope swing into river ! Thanks Tati & John !

A place with quiet and safe with the pool and excellent grill areas. A perfect place to enjoy with family or friends. Great attention from the hosts, super recommended

We had a great time and enjoyed every single second at this place! Just a heads-up: we did have a few small visitors in the apartment from time to time. It’s nothing major and probably unavoidable, even with mosquito nets in place.

This is the perfect place to stay near Monteverde! Waking up to the best views we've ever had. Coming back from a long day of hiking and relaxing in the Jacuzzi was perfect. It felt like an actual tree house but really nice! The receptionists are phenomenal and will gladly help make reservations or bookings for anything you'd like during your stay.

We LOVED this Airbnb. I thought it was even more attractive than the photos online. Felt peaceful, yet the lively town of La Fortuna only a few minutes away. I wish we had more time to spend here and would happily stay again if in the area. Highly recommend!

What an amazing place, surrounded by nature, quiet and peaceful. Gloriana was super helpful and responsive, 100% recommended. The place was also close to the Reserve and other amazing spots.
