Vacation rentals with lake access in Lake Arenal

Kellys place was perfect for our family. The location is close to many of the areas local attractions and the peaceful tranquility of the deck and watching so many species of birds in the yard was incredible! We would stay here again.

Amazing location, very close to town but felt like you were in the jungle. Very clean, cozy, and well-equipped kitchen.

The place is very nice and private, the service was good, the house was perfect !!! The place is really quiet, we had a great time !!!

Highly recommend this modern home. Exactly what we were looking for as its extremely peaceful and only a few minutes drive to restaurants, gym, cafe, etc.. Thanks for allowing us to stay in your home and now I need to remodel my home in the states to look like this!

my family of 5 enjoyed our stay. My inlaws, me, my husband and son all enjoyed the property. It was so relaxing, beautiful and clean and we found it a great base to explore La Fortuna and Arenal area. I would highly recommend this property to anyone visiting this area.

We loved this place. Super quiet neighborhood on a dead end road. Place was just as described and the fully stocked kitchen had everything needed. I already told David the host I was giving him 5 stars just because there were ice cube trays and they were full and frozen.... the fridge was already plugged in (who likes warm wine). Breezy in the evening...lots of birds and we could hear the howling monkeys in the distance.... covered parking... a clean, quiet and friendly town with an unique history.

We had an absolutely amazing stay at Casa Aqua Vida. The property itself is amazing: the house is very well set up, and Marta, the caretaker as well as Bernal, were extremely responsive. They gave us excellent local recommendations in addition to just getting a new blender for us when the one in the house was broken. The highlight for us was the phenomenal backyard and the majestic trees on the property. Every morning we woke up at 5:30am to the sound of birds, howler monkeys, cicadas and other wildlife. We easily spent 2-3 hours out each day enjoying all the birds and animals that just inhabited the surrounding trees. We saw many types of warblers, toucan, howler monkeys, buzzards, horses, bullfrogs, hummingbirds and many types of birds that we couldn’t recognize. All of this was above and beyond what we expected! Overall, we loved our stay! My family feels that this was the best experience we’ve ever had with a rental in our decade of using AirBnB.

The view over the lake arenal is just phenomenal! The house has a huge garden with some fruits, herbs & vegetables wich we were allowed to eat. We can for sure recommend.

We enjoyed our stay. Everything was as described. It was extremely peaceful and enjoyable. Wish we had more time in La Fortuna. We would’ve definitely stayed there another night. Waking up to the sounds of the water and the birds singing was truly special. We even enjoyed have the cattle next door as neighbors. Even the local restaurant on the corner was really good. We love Costa Rica.

Greetings, I wanted to tell you how much we enjoyed our stay. We loved the views of the lake and mountains. The view from the living room is a constant reminder of the incredible natural beauty of Arenal. We enjoyed how the morning light fills the house, especially the main bedroom. We cooked almost every day. Great stove and a well equipped kitchen was a plus and saved us a lot of money. The house is cozy with great views. The grounds are beautiful and enhance the surrounding natural beauty. We really enjoyed the quiet comfort of the house and the environment you have created. Alexandra is an incredible host. We spent 10 dream days at her place. She is available, caring, kind and so on. The accommodation is functional, with jungle views. It's very quiet, perfect for a change of scenery and tranquility. It is essential to have a car because the accommodation is not close to the center and other activities. I would 100% recommend!

This is one of the best places I’ve ever stayed. The atmosphere is peaceful, incredibly relaxing, and the surroundings are absolutely beautiful. Breakfast was fantastic, and having a chat with Paul was truly a blessing. Thank you, Paul and Carole, for such a wonderful experience. I’ll definitely be visiting again!

Amazing views! This condo was comfortable and clean. The location was perfect as a base to visit all the places around Guanacaste.

great place to get away from the city and tourism. I only gave the location 4 stars because it is about a 15-20 minute drive to get into town for the average tourism things. It was a very wonderful place and very kind host.

This was property matched the description and the pictures well. El Castillo is a more peaceful area than La Fortuna and close enough to feel like you can go back and forth without any issue. The view from the porch hot tub is stunning and makes up for the rustic amenities within the cabin. There was daily construction starting at 6:00am on the house next-door, however, so I probably would not have chosen this property if I had known that before-hand.

Absolutely loved our stay! The property is stunning, with beautifully maintained grounds and breathtaking views of the volcano. Very private - no one else nearby. Our kids couldn’t get enough of the pool and jacuzzi—it was the perfect place to relax. The location is great too, just a quick and easy 15-minute drive into downtown. Kenneth was an exceptional host—super responsive and thoughtful, even leaving fresh coconuts in the fridge for us. We would definitely stay here again!

This place is a very nice house with plenty of space, the pool is very nice and the whole property is beautiful and close to the Fortuna de San Carlos. It has access to a river where a cart enters (some parts only high cart). The owner of the house treated us super well and even got us some things we wanted. I would recommend the place if they like to have a good time as a family.

Karolina was an amazing host and the airbnb was beautiful beyond our expectations. The family welcomed us into the home and were extremely responsive in helping us get settled and acquainted with the area. We loved the stay and wish we could’ve stayed more!
