We had an amazing stay at Daiana's place in Monteverde. It lived up to all of our expecations - which were high after reading the many positive reviews. The view was indeed breathtaking, and the house was a modern masterpiece. We immediately felt right at home, and the house had absolutely everything we needed for a very comfortable stay. Although Daiana's recommended guide wasn't available because he was travelling, we found an amazing guide named Felix through Airbnb experiences. One of the restaurant recommendations in the reviews was The Orchid cafe - a fantastic find that we went to more than once! I highly recommend Daiana's home if you're going to be spending time in the Monteverde area. Enjoy!

This home is beautiful! Hidden right in the center of La Fortuna, with a great volcano view, and a walkable distance to many shops and restaurants. Everything was super clean when we checked in. Marvin even picked us up from the airport and offered very fairly priced transportation. He also gave great food and activity recommendations, and even arranged private tours for us. Definitely would stay at his place again!

We had a wonderful stay at Birder’s Paradise. Tanyia and Rod are super hosts and communication was excellent. The house was well maintained , beautifully decorated and had everything we needed. The views from each room were amazing. The property is beautifully landscaped with a large variety of flowering bushes. We spent a most of our time outside watching birds and enjoying the scenic view of the lake. Around 5am we had an excellent view of the volcano to the southeast of us. We do recommend 4 wheel drive to access the house because the last part is slow and rough. Totally worth it. We highly recommend.

After staying here last year our kids were so excited to come back! They love the pool! The house has everything you need and is very clean! The property is amazing and we have even seen several sloths.

We had a wonderful stay at Erick’s place on our trip to La Fortuna. The house was beautiful and fully equipped with everything you needed. We will definitely be back if we’re in the area again.

Beautiful, peaceful place, this is the second time I stayed in the property, and I will most likely visit again.

Neal and Diane were very helpful. we had some issues with the car, contacting folks back home. They gave us some good tips. I had an issue with my knee and they gave me the number to a physical therapist in the area. Claudia was great, I was experiencing no pain by the time I left. The pool was a good place to watch storms move in and out from. The birds and other ani.als made it wonderful to look at. There property is just so beautiful. Tronodora is small but has all the things in a short walk for a long stay or a short stay. We had a car but on most days we simply walked into town. We fid hang out with there two dogs, Franny and Albert. They were cute, loving, creatures.

Leslye’s place was amazing! The pool was a little green when we arrived but they cleaned it the very next day without asking. Super great location ti everything in Fortuna, definitely staying here when I come back…

My daughter and her boyfriend were there for a bike ride ride. The location was perfect for proximity to the ride and a great environment to relax following a strenuous day! There was a slight mix up with rooms, but it was quickly resolved for everyone. And, my daughter loved the replacement digs (pets included!) Kees is extremely easy to communicate with and very responsive. We highly recommend him and his accommodations.

Wonderful Airbnb! Looked exactly like pictures and it was so pretty and peaceful. Was easy to find and felt safe. The only issue was the amount of little bugs everywhere. Everything else was clean. Would be helpful to have more than two towels for guests.

This was by far the best AirBnB I’ve ever stayed in. The location was gorgeous and the rooms were amazing. The place was very clean and the kitchen had everything we needed. The beds in the main house were a little hard, but we still slept well :) if I am fortunate enough to be back in La Fortuna, I’d love to stay here again.

Mony’s place was wonderful, spacious, well appointed. The host allowed us to drop off our luggage prior to checking in so we could explore the area.

We had a great stay at Sunset House! Randall was very responsive to all of our questions. The kitchen was well stocked for the nights we decided to cook in. The location was convenient- close to restaurants and a lot of the attractions. We even saw sloths on our walk around the property! The only hiccup that we had was unlocking the door from the inside, as the lock is a bit sticky

Irene’s place was one of a kind. It was so peaceful and private, with the river running right by it felt like our own little oasis! Plenty of room for a family of 5 and everyone had their own area. Irene communicated very well and always answered my questions promptly and was very forgiving with a little accident we had. Thank you Irene for being so understandable, first time to Costa Rica and got our trip started off on the right foot by staying here. Did many activities near La Fortuna and found it so nice to come back to this peaceful location! Thank you again - Pura Vida!

Everything is beautiful! The trails, the house, the view, everything is divine. Luis is very friendly, as is the maintenance staff. I would definitely come back.

We had a wonderful stay at this home, truly a tropical paradise. The view of the Arenal Volcano was breathtaking. We spotted a sloth, the basilisk ("Jesus Christ” lizard), and monkeys. One of the highlights was the night tour with Roy, as well as the incredible waterfall rappelling and ziplining adventure we did with him. He was a fantastic guide! The host family was incredibly kind and welcoming. We enjoyed the breakfast at their home. I can’t recommend this place highly enough, unforgettable experience!

Brad was the best host! Met us and helped us get situated, and then gave us contacts for a lovely night tour and set up a higher level pickleball game. The resort nearby is a bit run down (though top notch pball courts) but the staff is very friendly and welcoming. The home itself is well laid out, unique and has everything you need to feel at home.

We really liked the accommodation, a small paradise surrounded by nature and different birds. The house is also beautiful and David was very helpful. I'll stay here again if I can

My husband and I were very satisfied with our stay. It was our own little paradise. We ordered breakfast every morning and gave the time we wanted the hot tub on every night. Everything was on time and great. Close to town, but very peaceful.

Beautiful views and very helpful host! Only 5 minutes to the waterfall. Perfect spot for our quick stay.

The accommodation is very nice and offers all the comforts we needed. The kitchen and bathroom are outside the property, which was a little challenging for us as a family. Unfortunately, Domo Tican was not on the front of the gate, but another name of the villa, so we drove around for a while and took almost two hours to search. Unfortunately, the gate was also locked when we arrived. The night in the middle of the sounds of nature was nevertheless very nice.
