We had an incredible stay in La Fortuna with our family, including our 3-year-old and 1-year-old. The home is perfectly situated right at the base of the volcano, offering unobstructed, stunning views—we could see Arenal from the living room and even while relaxing outside. The host was extremely thoughtful, leaving cold beers and champagne in the fridge for us, which was such a warm welcome after a long drive. Communication was excellent, and the concierge-style service made it easy to plan activities that worked for both adults and young kids. The space felt peaceful, safe, and well-equipped for a family. We’d absolutely recommend this place to anyone visiting the area—especially families looking for comfort, scenery, and great hospitality.

Jose, his family and friends were more than welcoming to us from the moment we came to the Airbnb! Quick responses and always there to lend us a hand or guide us to anything we may need! Amazing food at a local restaurant, horseback riding on his land with lots of things to see and learn about! His pool at the Airbnb was absolutely amazing! We loved getting to meet his family members and socializing with them! I would highly recommend this Airbnb to everyone in near the La Fortuna area!!! This house provided a magical time in La Fortuna! It was perfect for our family of 4. We enjoyed the pool and the quiet neighborhood. It was a short drive to the small town and we loved every second of its please note bugs get in no matter how much you try to keep them out! Embrace them! Also, the comforters were a little small for our liking, I would have preferred a full size for my husband and I to share instead of 2 small sheets. Besides that, it was perfect!

Words truly can't capture how incredible this property is! We've stayed in many Airbnbs across different locations, but nothing has come close to this experience. The home and grounds are absolutely stunning—but it was the location and our amazing hosts, David and Josie, that made this stay unforgettable. We arrived at the start of rainy season, but it didn’t dampen our stay at all—thoughtful touches like covered walkways and outdoor spaces made it easy to enjoy everything, rain or shine. From the abundant wildlife to the peaceful seclusion, and the wealth of local knowledge they shared, every moment was exceptional! This place is a gem!

It truly is a little slice of heaven! Pictures don’t come close to doing it justice! We stayed 3 nights. It was easy to get to and close to the La Fortuna area. We can’t recommend pie in the sky enough! From check in to checkout it was wonderful!

This spot was a little bit difficult to find, but don’t let that discourage you. The home was beautiful. The rooms are located outside. It is very close to downtown area. Definitely recommend this.

I am glad to have found this gem of a place in La Fortuna. The house is very close to city center and all activities in La Fortuna. Lots of great restaurants near by. The house is very well maintained with all the required amenities. The pool surrounded by lush greenery was welcoming after a long day of hiking. Laura is very responsive and the check in / checkout process is a breeze. I recommended this place for anyone visiting La Fortuna.

This cute little place was perfect for the two of us. Having the AC in the bedroom was so nice and made for a good nights sleep. We enjoyed sitting on the back patio and watching and listening to all of the birds and watching the cows who are right next door. Fortuna Waterfalls is close by and it’s a quick trip into town. We would stay here again.

We had an amazing stay at Daiana's place in Monteverde. It lived up to all of our expecations - which were high after reading the many positive reviews. The view was indeed breathtaking, and the house was a modern masterpiece. We immediately felt right at home, and the house had absolutely everything we needed for a very comfortable stay. Although Daiana's recommended guide wasn't available because he was travelling, we found an amazing guide named Felix through Airbnb experiences. One of the restaurant recommendations in the reviews was The Orchid cafe - a fantastic find that we went to more than once! I highly recommend Daiana's home if you're going to be spending time in the Monteverde area. Enjoy!

Absolutely incredible stay! I would recommend this place to anyone. The interior of the place was special, and the view of the valley was stunning! It was an easy transport into La Fortuna, which was great, but also far enough away where we felt secluded from the tourism and at peace. 10/10 recommend.

Tavis place was amazing 😍 The house is so spacious, comfortable, secure and modern. Tavi clearly takes a lot of pride in keeping the place well maintained. The garden out front is absolutely beautiful and the view out to the lake is captivating. The location was ideal - only within 10 mins walk of the town and the lakefront. Tavi was super responsive and very helpful with lots of local recommendations. Could not fault the communication. Would not hesitate staying at Tavis place again.

Literally a picturesque view of Arenal from the patio. Super clean. Housekeepers cane every morning. Pool and hot tub were great. Really enjoyed our stay.

Balcon Arenal was a beautiful stay! Was peaceful and secluded. An obstruction free view of the volcano. Great local restraints close by. Would stay here again!

Can’t say enough about how wonderful this Airbnb was for our family! It’s gorgeous, the wildlife was amazing to watch, checking in was so easy. We saw sloths, toucans, iguanas, howler monkeys, too many birds to count! We made sure to have a few days to just hang around the property and relax and were so glad we did. With all the property has to offer you don’t have to go anywhere. We hope to return for sure!

The property was beautiful, clean, very nice inside, appliances new. Rodrigo was very responsive. He took care of any concerns right away. This was exactly how it was described and actually even better than the pictures. Beautiful place, safe, and and wonderful host.

The place has a spectacular view, ideal for large families and the house is very wheelchair accessible. There is plenty of space throughout the property and the house is spectacularly clean. The kitchen had everything you need for cooking. There are no supermarkets nearby, so it is advisable to do your shopping before you get to the place. I would definitely come back.

Casa Malecu was absolutely stunning! We had an amazing stay. The view of Lake Arenal was beautiful, as were the grounds and the house. Lots of big windows to see in all directions. The highlight of our stay was the main shower that had a floor to ceiling window looking out onto Lake Arenal. Well-maintained and nicely decorated. We wish we had booked for longer. We did have an issue with our key; it broke our first day there. However, Pedro was quick to our rescue and we were with a new key in minutes. Also, the place is a little difficult to find since there are no addresses. Can’t simply plug it into an online map, instead you have to rely on landmarks. A good thing we didn’t drive in at night like we had originally intended or we probably would not have found it. For our purposes, it was close to the various areas we wanted to visit such as Arenal, La Fortuna and a 2-hour drive. We will definitely come back!!

Quinta Urubu is a gem in the cloud forest!! The house is beautifully designed with all the amenities needed. The view from the deck is spectacular and we spent most of our time there. Sybil had recommendations on where to dine and shop, which was very helpful. My husband and I spent 3 wonderful days celebrating our anniversary. The house is private and secluded and ideal for someone who doesn’t want to be in the crowded and touristy part of Monteverde.

The house is super beautiful and stylishly decorated. The two bathrooms are a dream and huge. Everything is super clean and the location on the street did not bother us, but rather gave us a sense of security. In addition, the house is well protected and we felt comfortable and safe. The view from the balcony to the Arenal volcano is absolutely fantastic. The infrastructure around it offers everything you need: organizers for tours in the parks, shopping and the thermal baths. Included in the stay was a visit to one of the thermal baths. Unfortunately, we were unable to use it because there was not enough time. We would rent the wonderful house again at any time and highly recommend it. The support from Caroline was straightforward and friendly. Before our arrival, she told us everything important and we were able to enjoy the stay from the first moment. 🌋🤩🫶

We had a wonderful week-long stay at Monstera House. The home is exactly as described in the listing. The bathroom is so beautiful, the pool was spotless, and the rest of the house was amazingly clean. Sandra cooked us a Costa Rican breakfast every morning, which was such a sweet addition to our stay. We drove about 15 minutes every evening to get to La Fortuna for dinner, and about 30min-1hour for excursions in the morning near La Fortuna. Ubers are very accessible in the area, which we took often to dinner. Sandra was very helpful and responded very quickly. We can’t recommend this Airbnb enough!!
