What an amazing stay! This cozy guest house was absolutely perfect for our time in the Lake District. We particularly appreciated the quiet surroundings and the lovely details that included a very generous and tasty welcome basket. The suite was well appointed with beautiful linens, a hot shower and a very comfortable bed. Alister was very quick to respond to our messages and all of his recommendations were spot on. We especially loved the Buttermere and Ullswater hikes. The only thing we would have changed was to have booked a longer stay. Thanks, Ali, for a fabulous experience!

Lovely cosy barn in a beautiful village. The place was beautiful and comfortable. Only downside was no garden space to bask in the sunshine but there was a quiet track to walk the dogs in just past the house

We had a lovely stay at the Hayloft and were made to feel especially welcome with the supplies left by Hannah. It was very clean and comfortable and the bath was superb. The village is quiet and well situated for easy access to the north lakes.
