Monthly Rentals in Lagoa do Fogo

I stayed at this apartment for about two months. Susana was very helpful! The place is a perfect size, very clean, and as a solo female I felt very safe in the small town. Lagoa is centrally located to be able to access Ponta Delgada, Villa Franca and Ribiera Grande with about a 20 minute drive. I rented a scooter for my two month stay and had no problem getting to the main parts of the island that I needed to. However Lagoa itself is pretty small and doesn’t have any significant night life (which is honestly nice for a long term stay). Most nights were spent watching the sunset and having a glass of wine from the apartment windows. Some dogs barking and motorcycle riding sounds at night which are easily blocked out if you close the windows and turn the fan on. Susana helped with anything that I needed: provided extra bed linens, extra kitchen supplies and fixed the sink promptly when there was a leak. Would certainly stay again :)

My family and I had an incredible stay. Miguel is a great host and provided very helpful recommendations based on the weather. The view from the balcony is incredible and the beach down below is a great place to visit and enjoy the waves. Would highly recommend this place to anyone who wants a quiet and peaceful stay. There are also lots of good nearby restaurants on the main road connecting the towns along the water. Great central location to driving anywhere in the island.

Graca’s apartment is conveniently located and a great base to explore the island. Her apartment is very well maintained, spacious, clean, modern, close to town, and ample parking. Most importantly Garça is a great host! She was flexible, extremely responsive and shared great local recommendations. I would highly recommend her place to anyone visiting the island!

Great apartment in an excellent location. Close to beach, supermarket, bar, cafe and on the bus line. Very quiet area. Our hosts were very gracious and friendly. Their hospitality and generosity exceeded our expectations to ensure that we were comfortable and that our stay on the island was enjoyable. Would most definitely recommend this apartment
