My husband and I had an absolutely wonderful 20-day stay at this beautiful property in Ribeira Grande. The location couldn't be better, and the house exceeded all our expectations with its modern interior and thoughtful amenities - everything we needed was provided. What truly made our stay special was our incredible host, who went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The homemade dessert was such a lovely touch that perfectly showed their genuine hospitality and care for guests. We couldn't have asked for a better home base to explore São Miguel Island. We had a lovely stay at Maria’s place! The property was beautiful, the cottage had everything we needed for our stay, and everything was clean and tidy. As a bonus, there was a very friendly cat on the property!

I feel very confident this is the most stunning property on the island! It’s magical. We had a few small hiccups, but Joao was extremely responsive and helped us resolve them quickly. The only thing I would mention is that the glass makes a lot of noise when it is changing temp, which you get use to, and it’s worth the floor to ceiling windows, but it’s just something to be aware of. Thanks Joao!!!!
