Family-friendly vacation rentals in Lago Puelo

After two weeks of traveling across Patagonia, it was like coming home when we arrived at Carlos's place. A beautiful property, lots of nature, peace and a relaxed warm host. There is a dog living at the property. I'm scared of dogs, but this one is so relaxed and sweet, so I had no problems. The communication also worked in a few words. The wifi was not available throughout. The little house is cozy and functionally furnished. The fresh bread and eggs were very tasty for breakfast. We would have liked to have bought more of the jam, honey or other delicacies, but unfortunately we are not allowed to take this to Chile. The car can be parked in a carport and is protected. There is a terrace. We would have loved to stay longer!

Everything was excellent!! We went to relax for a weekend and that's what we did. You don't hear a single noise. It has a very large park overlooking the Bolson. The hosts were always attentive and Benjamin explained everything we needed to know to enjoy our stay. Highly recommended

Fanny and her husband are very friendly, they sent us recommendations, and they also let us in a little early since the house was free. The house is beautiful, spacious, very well decorated in wood and well-kept. The double bed is HUGE and the mattress is of excellent quality.

The dome has been one of my favorite places that I have stayed! It is extremely cozy inside and the farm is very beautiful to walk around. Plus, the dog and cat are very friendly! Parking is very easy and the delicious food they left for us to try was much appreciated. The nearby area also is beautiful and has a lot of hiking. Perfect launching site for adventures or for a peaceful day in the dome and on the farm.

The cabin is perfect!! Super recommended. In favor: Very good location, 3 blocks from Route 40, right on the border between Chubut and Río Negro. Only 5´from the center of El Bolsón by car and the supermarket. The attention of Chino and Cris is super. Be attentive to everything and ready to help you with what you need. They also leave you a rich complimentary bread and jam at the door whenever they can. The cabin is very comfortable and functional for 4 people, without great luxuries. Hot water goes divine! The oven and ovens work properly, and one has the basics for cooking. The cabin atmosphere is privileged. A huge park with lots of peace and quiet surround the cabin. Against: there are not many contras and everything that has in favor weighs more. It can only be mentioned that the grill is a little uncomfortable, especially at night because it has no light. But to eat a rich asado one manages to eat. The wood on the top floor makes a lot of noise when you walk or barely move. During the day it does not bother and at night, one falls asleep. Those susceptible to noise keep it in mind. Highly recommended for those looking for tranquility, not being next to the noise and movement of the center and a simple and functional house. Excellent place. Very warm and very kindly welcomed us. The place has recommendations in the area and were practical so that we could do different activities. They have laundry service so it seemed great. Hope to comeback soon 🙌🏻

Great place - our favourite in Patagonia. Remote yet accessible, as long as you’ve got a car. Loads of friendly animals and all round good vibes.

I really can only say good things about Laura and her place! She and her family are really lovely people, where you just feel comfortable. The atmosphere on the property is great, calm and totally in the countryside. We were able to relax in the garden very nicely, have breakfast and enjoy the time with the dogs (Juany we have so closed in our heart❤️🐶). Laura really helps you a lot and wants you to have a good time, I highly recommend staying with her! Muchas gracias por todo :)

It's a beautiful place, the cabin was beautiful, it was impeccable in terms of cleanliness, super manicured. The details of the decor are amazing, they make the rustic atmosphere super cozy, the atmosphere is perfect for relaxation. We will definitely be back...

I loved my stay at Graciela & Sergio’s house on the base of Piltri mountain in El Bolson. The house is a little remote which is great if that’s what you’re looking for! Sergio (Graciela’s husband) picked me up where I was staying beforehand in Lago Puelo and Graciela dropped me off in El Bolson after I had finished my 3 day stay. Their house is so remote, peaceful and tranquil. No phone signal reaches there and they don’t have access to WiFi so you are able to rest, relax and recharge!!! If you absolutely need phone or internet connection this is not the place for you. The house is on the base of Piltriquitron mountain so it is a worthwhile experience to walk/hike all the way up to Bosque Tallado / Piltri Refugio / and even the summitof the mountain! Plan an extra 3-4 hours round trip to hike all the way to the summit. The house is not super close to Bolson but you can still walk or try to hitchhike to town, and you can get a taxi from town to the house if you are out late for dinner. The bed is super comfortable, the bathroom/shower is nice, and they have pretty much everything you need in the kitchen. And if you didn’t gather already, Graciela & Sergio are such nice people... they even offered to have me join them for dinner the first night. If you want a remote and peaceful experience, this is the place for you!!

Beautiful location with great views. Nice outside sitting area where we enjoyed morning coffee each day. The house was very comfortable. A little difficult to locate the first day, but the hosts were very helpful and directed us to the right location. All in all a wonderful stay.
