Family-friendly vacation rentals in Chubut Province

After two weeks of traveling across Patagonia, it was like coming home when we arrived at Carlos's place. A beautiful property, lots of nature, peace and a relaxed warm host. There is a dog living at the property. I'm scared of dogs, but this one is so relaxed and sweet, so I had no problems. The communication also worked in a few words. The wifi was not available throughout. The little house is cozy and functionally furnished. The fresh bread and eggs were very tasty for breakfast. We would have liked to have bought more of the jam, honey or other delicacies, but unfortunately we are not allowed to take this to Chile. The car can be parked in a carport and is protected. There is a terrace. We would have loved to stay longer!

Beautiful cabin, comfortable and with nice location (although the pinos remove some of the panoramic view that could be wonderful). Being is a dream; to enjoy by the wood-burning stove. There is a warehouse one block away and a large supermarket about twelve blocks away. Very good attention from Lina; it was always warm and very pleasant.

The dome has been one of my favorite places that I have stayed! It is extremely cozy inside and the farm is very beautiful to walk around. Plus, the dog and cat are very friendly! Parking is very easy and the delicious food they left for us to try was much appreciated. The nearby area also is beautiful and has a lot of hiking. Perfect launching site for adventures or for a peaceful day in the dome and on the farm.

The place is 100% recommended, safe and quiet, I had an impeccable stay with my family. 2 blocks from the beach, close to businesses, butchers and bakery. I would definitely go back again.

Our stay with Isabel and Alberto was perfect! The accommodation is even nicer and more welcoming in person, and they were very kind and helpful with everything, we would definitely come back.

I loved my stay at Graciela & Sergio’s house on the base of Piltri mountain in El Bolson. The house is a little remote which is great if that’s what you’re looking for! Sergio (Graciela’s husband) picked me up where I was staying beforehand in Lago Puelo and Graciela dropped me off in El Bolson after I had finished my 3 day stay. Their house is so remote, peaceful and tranquil. No phone signal reaches there and they don’t have access to WiFi so you are able to rest, relax and recharge!!! If you absolutely need phone or internet connection this is not the place for you. The house is on the base of Piltriquitron mountain so it is a worthwhile experience to walk/hike all the way up to Bosque Tallado / Piltri Refugio / and even the summitof the mountain! Plan an extra 3-4 hours round trip to hike all the way to the summit. The house is not super close to Bolson but you can still walk or try to hitchhike to town, and you can get a taxi from town to the house if you are out late for dinner. The bed is super comfortable, the bathroom/shower is nice, and they have pretty much everything you need in the kitchen. And if you didn’t gather already, Graciela & Sergio are such nice people... they even offered to have me join them for dinner the first night. If you want a remote and peaceful experience, this is the place for you!!

We were several days with my dad and my brothers staying here, and we think everything was ten! The location is very convenient and the neighborhood is beautiful. The apartment has everything for a comfortable stay, and Oscar is a great host. My brother forgot money in the apartment and the other day we already had the amount transferred to our account, the truth is that it is a luxury to meet good and honest people like him. We are extremely grateful and we recommend the accommodation 100%!!

Sandra is a wonderful host! Gracious, flexible with a very late check-in, even called our car rental company for us! We are so grateful! The cabin is cute but smaller than the photos make it seem. The property is beautiful, with another cabin and the owners’ house next door. There’s a fantastic view of the river! We liked this place as a jumping off point for exploring Punta Tombo and Rawson.
