The home and grounds were beautiful. The check in and check out process was easy with no issues. The host is easy to get a hold of and answers quickly when contacted . We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We had an 18-month-old and had no issues at the home other than there is no fenced in play area so we would walk him around outside but mostly had to keep him in the house.

Beautiful location with a stunning pool, though unfortunately, it was too cold to use during our stay. The property is just a short drive to Anaheim, making it a convenient spot. The atmosphere was incredibly relaxing, and we appreciated the thoughtful touch of snacks and small amenities upon arrival. Such a wonderful and welcoming experience!

Wonderful place, easy check in/check out process. Neighborhood was nice and quiet. Convenient to a lot of shops, restaurants and only 15 minutes from Legoland. Would recommend and stay again.

Love staying here with my kids. They enjoy the beach and pool. I enjoy surfing! The bed and pull out sofa are very comfortable. I personally appreciate tons of hooks to hang up wet stuff. Can’t wait to stay here again!

This place was very nice and clean, it had everything we needed and is very close to the beach. We did come across some issues with the gate to the garage, but they sent over their maintenance guy to come and fix it. Over all a lovely place to stay and I would stay here again.

Fantastic place and really responsive host!

We had a great stay at this property! It's fully remodeled, very clean and comfortable. Everything was provided, including nice bath towels (mini shampoo/conditioner/lotion, too), soft comfortable linen, fully stocked kitchen, etc. The property is steps away from Marine Avenue, the main street on Balboa Island, with great shops and restaurants. That being said, you are in a more vibrant and happening part of the island, which comes with a little more noise and traffic. We enjoyed being close to everything, walking around, etc. The host is responsive and super easy to work with.

We really enjoyed our stay at Shawn’s place. I plan to stay there again the next time I’m in LA.

The location is unbeatable with Grove and Erewhon downstairs! The host Maiia is very helpful and responsive. Will be back for sure!

Ali was a great host,super flexible, went above and beyond to help us out. House was great very clean and the surrounding area was beautiful.

Beautiful condo, the yellow walls from the pictures were now a blue color and EVERY SINGLE window looked like a moving painting. Absolutely beautiful. Small note: Really mean security at the gate of the condo. I had a friend surprise me for my birthday and she got called a "liar" when she told the security woman she was not staying the night. Thankfully the hosts are incredible and helped to fix the issue but insanely aggressive behavior for 7am.

We rented this awesome property during Easter weekend and had a great time hosting family. They were also impressed with this house. Great place to stay!

We had a great time. The host was very proactive and communicated very effectively. When an unforeseen issue came up, the host addressed it immediately. A great place for our week long get away.

These hosts turned hosting into a science, it's as if they predicted when a guest will want when and where and made accommodations for it, even to the minute detail of running an extension HDMI cable from the back of their tv to the front for convenience instead of wrestling with the back of the tv. Everything was in such a convenient and logical place that it makes me wonder if they have professional experience in hotel hospitality or interior design. They were a complete joy to work with and made sure all the instructions were clear and concise so there was no question on how to get there, what codes to use and where things were located. One of the best experiences I've pretty much every had, and I travel the world going to 6 to 10 places a year including abroad. Will definitely be back again!!!

Absolutely no complaints. Property was clean, well kept. The yard was nice. The separate bathrooms really help with getting everyone ready for the day or for bed. The host was responsive and very easy to deal with. The neighborhood was very quiet and safe. Sometimes it’s tough to get a feel for the area from photos or google maps. We did not worry about our cars, or kids running in the yard. A lot of places very close by for easy grab and go groceries or other needs. Towels and other basic amenities provided which makes travel much easier. One thing that may be small but shows attention to detail is the dispenser of Q-Tips in the bathroom. They may not have been needed when I first noticed but turned out to be handy to get a piece of dirt stuck in my fiancées ring. This would not have been noticed or thought of if it wasn’t provided. But it shows the host puts a bit of effort that jot every host does. Would stay here and plan on staying here again in the future!

Very nice & spacious! Host helped out a lot. The driveway was very steep & a one way which we didn’t know about but not a big deal at all it’s just a good heads up. everything was awesome!

We wanted a large, relaxing place off the beaten path to escape with our kids and their friends for spring break. This house did not disappoint! The house and location were absolutely beautiful. The house’s architecture and layout provided a panoramic view of the valley from its numerous French doors and windows. The house was well lit with natural light and the rooms spacious and luxurious. The pool was fantastic for both lap swimming and relaxing, which is not something you often find when renting a place. Another uncommon bonus, that my wife was shocked to find, was that they actually had tupperware as well! (Not common for most rentals surprisingly). This house exceeded our expectations and we recommend this place to others looking for a similar experience as we were.
