Very friendly host and team. Clean rooms and bathrooms. Delicious food made fresh and served with love. Would highly recommend.

If nothing else, come for the delicious meals Dorjee cooks for breakfast and dinner. The rooms are rustic and comfortable, cozy and warm. Dorjee is available and forever helpful. The location of this Homestay is right in the middle of Lachung, so easy to locate for all drivers. Everything is very homely and warm. Dorjee will feed you in her beautiful and spacious kitchen which has very friendly companions. Then there's the added benefit of Café Lachung which again serves delicious pastries and Italian dishes. There is no place else I would have stayed in Lachung.

It was an amazing stay at Tshegyal's place. I arrived quite late in the evening but from the prior reviews, I knew it was next to the lemon tree hotel. Arrived and met the house keeper at the ground floor of the building at the medical shop. The check in post that was easy and relaxed. The space was a delight and the privacy was really worth it. There is nobody around the space to disturb you. It is your kingdom to relax in. MG Marg is 15 minutes by taxi. You will get shared taxi from the doorstep @40 INR per person. While coming back, get taxi from Ranka Stand (ask for the helipad route taxi) Swiggy and Zomato delivers and people be sweet. I planned to stay for 7 nights however due to personal commitments, I had to reduce it to 4 nights. Even tho it was a non refundable stay, Tshegyal refunded the total amount with no questions. I really appreciate that and it was a v nice gesture. I do look forward to visiting it again! Sikkim was lovely, as always.

Sristi's mud house is straight out of a fairy tale - magical , mystical and dreamy. Highly recommend it to someone looking to live a slow life in hinterlands. The house is built with a lot of care and thought. The artefacts of bamboo and wood give it an earthy charm. One can spend hours here with nature - the surrounding forest sounds , clear night sky and village / farm walks rekindled our spirits. Sristi herself and her family are very warm and welcoming. The food they cook on a wood fired cookstove is simple and delicious. Thanks for everything Sristi , including the small picnic at the river. PS - don't forget to ask for Shimpu Guras wine prepared from Rhododendron!
