Salamander Chalet

Enjoy the peace, the view and the comfort of this stylish chalet. Very suitable as a romantic getaway or relaxing in nature with your family. We are at 650 meters altitude, in a hot summer it is always a little cooler than in the valley and with a breeze, very pleasant. At night, the lake cools down and it's a good night's sleep. We don't need air conditioning. Dogs are welcome, €15 per stay. For the winter, there is a wood-burning stove. We provide a wheelbarrow with firewood for €15.

Charming recently renovated cottage set in the heart of a 70-hectare organic vineyard estate, in the Pays Cathare, close to Carcassonne and its many castles. The Palauqui farm is located in the Montjardin valley, in the middle of the forest and our sheep. We are in Cathar country near Montségur and Puivert. Our cottage will allow you to discover this beautiful region between sea and mountain. Ideal for a family who loves hiking, horseback riding, mountain biking, as well as swimming and fishing (Montbel and Puivert lakes) 15 minutes away. Access to all shops, electric bike rental 4 km from the village of Chalabre.
