Wendy was a very helpful host. She helped us figure out what to do instead of the Poás visit planned with âge appropriate recommendation for small children. Communication via text worked really well and the house was beautifully crafted the costa Rica way !

The rooms are surrounded by nature, are very cozy, comfortable and excellent for rest. José M is very kind and attentive, he helped us in everything. The location was what we liked the most, just 1.5 km from the Tirimbina and Rafting Biological Reserve, close to supermarkets and restaurants. I highly recommend it for a day of adventure and a rest night.

This place is very basic and we just stayed here We had a great stay for a night! The place was super clean and everything worked just as described. We do prefer a bit more comfort in our linens and bedding, but the ones provided were okay. There’s only one bedroom with a queen-size bed and a sofa bed. It would’ve been better if there were two single beds, since the bedroom is large. You could separate or join them based on what your guests prefer. Oh, and there are some stray and neighbor owned dogs that live nearby and sometimes hang out around the property if you’re outside in the back or front. They’re friendly and harmless, but they might not be the best for people who are scared of dogs.

This home is fabulous! The perfect jungle-like setting ~ with an easy walk to the Sarapiqui river. Can not wait to return to this joyous place and relax in its peace and beauty.
