Caroline and Gilles' place is really nice; sleeping in a former station hall is not common and our children loved it. The little extra is that this accommodation is a mini museum since Caroline and Gilles bargain-hunted in flea markets and the internet to find plenty of old railway equipment and this does not prevent them from hosting a family with three boys!!! Well done!!! The condition of the accommodation is impeccable, everything is tidy and everything has a place. Finally, the location is very interesting, we spent three days in Périgord Noir with its castles, rivers, garden, bastides, forests, cities... We would therefore fully recommend this listing!

This little apartment was an absolute gem. Spotless, private and secure just above a delicious cookie shop. Easy walking distance to the train station, restaurants and shops. I would highly recommend this place for a solo traveller or couple. Brive is a beautiful little spot to visit.

We had a great time in Avignon.🙂 Sébastien informed us very well about the area where we were and any activities to do in the vicinity. The accommodation was very good, no complaints and the best part of the stay: the indoor pool👍. We will be back no problem.

What made me select 5 stars rather than 4 was Sonia’s friendliness and flexibility. You’ll have everything you need here and you’ll be in a fantastic location.

We have just had the most amazing stay here! The house and grounds are stunning with amazing views. The house is very close to Bergerac but is very private in the countryside with vast grounds. We had such a peaceful and relaxing break. Jil was a wonderful host, so responsive and helpful. She sent great instructions for our arrival, lots of recommendations and also came over on the evening of our arrival to make sure we were comfortable and to explain things around the house, which was appreciated. Would love to stay again and will be recommending to friends and family!

A gorgeous old stone house with chic updates. We only used 3 bedrooms and they were all comfortable with modern baths. Many places to gather, especially outside. The living room was lovely and welcoming. The farnhouse kitchen was very well supplied. The pool house was to die for and we had cocktails and even dinner there one evening. The views! Gorgeous, with castles and hot air balloons. The hosts live on site and were delightful when we ran across them but very discreet. It definitely felt like “our” property. Nothing negative to say, and we were blessed with fabulous weather! It’s in the heart of the must see towns along the Dordogne, with many restaurants and sights within 5-10 minutes. Our family spent a wonderful four days in Jean-Christophe's place, and we were very sad to leave. The garden and the view of the chateau are gorgeous, and we took good advantage of the walking trails through the woods. The house had everything we needed and we were very comfortable, especially with the wood fire. The village is very small, but it is an easy drive to Sarlat and some of the most beautiful towns in Dordogne, as well as the many painted caves in the Vézère Valley. Highly recommended as a quiet retreat and as a home-base to explore the region.

We had a lovely stay, in a very well arranged apartment, very clean, quiet and at the same time close to the center we wanted to visit. A warm welcome.

A perfect position, a few minutes walk from the historic centre, and easy to come and go from. The home was comfortable with all the amenities we needed for our 4 day stay. We did not meet our hosts, but they were very helpful in sending recommendations for sites and restaurants in the area and very quick to respond to our questions. I would not hesitate to recommend this place as a perfect base for a stay in the Dordogne area.

Maggie & Ahm were terrific hosts! They were there to great us and available for any questions we had. The house is quiet and a very walkable distance to town where there are numerous places to eat. An overall enjoyable experience!

Magnificent apartment that suited us 2 couples perfectly. Central location, great kitchen and a private garage.

Location is a gated community that has a mix of residents and rentals. Beautiful countryside view. close to town. 4 minute drive to Carrefour grocery store. Steep hill down to town would be challenging for some walkers. There were a number of stone outside steps up to the apartment level. Very clean inside the apartment with comfy beds. Water power in upstairs toilette was weak. Overall a great choice in Sarlat.

We had a lovely four night stay in Cahor at Josy's flat. The location was great for both walking into the old town (the Cahor Wed & Sat market is much better than Sarlat) and for driving out into the countryside to explore the Lot region. While we chose this for the private parking, the flat was large, well-equipped, quiet, and very comfortable. It was a treat to have a clothes dryer as well as a washer. Josy was a helpful host who we enjoyed meeting. No hesitation in recommending this place!
