Places to stay in La Junta

Karen’s place was perfect for our needs of overflow for family Christmas sleeping arrangements. Beds were comfortable, space was inviting. The only thing, which wasn’t a problem for our group at all, is that you have to go through the other bedroom to either use the bathroom or get into the main living room. Just something to consider if having two parties who don’t like to share space. Would recommend.

I wish I can give this place more than 5 stars!!! Kendi is such an AMAZING host. She quickly answered any questions I had which weren’t many because she leaves all information in a welcome packet. Her place is a cozy home away from home. I’m a travel nurse and I stay in many hotels and air BnB and this by far is the best. Will definitely stay again if I’m ever in town.

The pictures don’t do the apartment justice, it’s bigger than it looks and felt very welcoming and relaxing. Karen provided some snacks and water bottles, a couple of Modelo, I don’t drink but it was a nice gesture. Everything was clean. I had everything I needed, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, towels, coffee and filters to use with the coffee pot. I was impressed. Karen is responsive and kind and does a great job. Getting into the apartment was very easy and I felt safe and secure. Thanks again for a great stay!

This was a little cozy peaceful place. With all the amenities! The washer and dryer was great to have! The snacks and drinks provided were excellent! It’s a fantastic place to get away from the hustle and bustle of every day life and really reflect on what God has to offer us!

The tiny house was really fun and was neat to stay in. The AC only cooled the kitchen though, not the sleeping area at all, so it was a little uncomfortable until well into the night. The only downside is that it’s right behind some commercial buildings, you could hear most of the traffic. Otherwise though, really enjoyed it.

I enjoy staying here, this was my 2nd time and everything was great. I really like the desk area where I can get my stuff set up and get my computer work done.

Thanks for enjoyable weekend at your place, Brad. La Junta KOA meet all our needs for a quick trip to La Junta for college wrestling. Friendly Host- clear instructions for our stay. Our little Cabin B was comfortable -clean - fully stocked with linen/towels/kitchen items. Pet area was also clean/stocked with bags for clean up. We want to return in the summer months to explore the area more. Community is rich in ranching and railroad history. KOA has some cool rail cars on the property. Caboose to rent!
