Kitchen, living room, a terrace that looks upon the countryside, perfect for an outside lunch or relax. Caterina was the wife of Enrico II and for this queen of France. An obscure legend persecuted her and the prejudice around was that she was austere, cruel and power seeking. Historians today celebrate the grand political and regal personality that she was.

The property is a portion of a 16th Century Casa Colonica (a typical Tuscan farmhouse) situated atop a hill surrounded by vineyards, olive groves and sprawling views of the surrounding hills. An ancient deconsecrated church dating back to the early 1900s, originally built as a private chapel of Villa Philipson. Chiesino Dei Vaioni has a loft structure with two double bedrooms on two separate mezzanines. Outside, there is a kitchen with a wood-burning oven, private gardens with a tree-lined avenue and an olive grove. The gates and internal stairs were built by the Antica Fonderia Michelucci. Chiesino Dei Vaioni is immersed in the Tuscan countryside just minutes from the city.

In the beautiful Tuscan hills, a wonderful apartment in a finely restored farmhouse, with independent access, consisting of a large living room-kitchen on the ground floor, a double bedroom, a bedroom with two single beds and a large bathroom on the first floor, and another double bedroom with private bathroom on the second floor. All surrounded by olive trees and vineyards and a beautiful swimming pool! The property is equipped with an electric charging station available for guests.

You have a private garden at your disposal, wifi, a/c, washer, dishwasher, private parking. Casa Adriana is very close to Florence (15 minutes by train) and you can easily reach Siena, Pisa, San Gimignano and Chianti in 1 hour driving. Please note: Tourist Tax has to be paid in cash once arrived in our accommodation. Hiring a car is highly recommended.
