Cabin vacation rentals in Kuusamo

A wonderful place where we were able to explore and see the northern lights from, the cabin was great and had everything we needed!

Nice couple of nights in Hossa. The cottage met expectations and was clean. The kitchen had all the necessary utensils, the sauna heated up quickly. The hot tub was nice to relax in the evenings.

We spent four days at the property in January 2025. The cabin was very lonely located on a frozen lake very idyllic and quiet. You could rest completely, without any traffic noise. It was fantastically beautiful, there was a lot of snow on site in January. Especially the sauna was very nice, the extra fees for the HotTub were a bit too high in my opinion, as the cabin was priced higher. It was also not that easy to put it into operation with wood. The main cabin was very well furnished, the kitchen super equipped. With a passr shopping, you could eat yourself very well. However, if you want restaurants or supermarkets nearby, you should book somewhere else, as you had to drive 10-15 minutes here by car. It was so perfect for us. The beds very comfortable, ideal for a family with 4 children. The TV is a little too small for the size of the room.

Very cute and nice cottage for a weekend. Perfect location to go hiking. Host really helpful and friendly.

We had an amazing stay! The property was impeccably clean and well-maintained. The location couldn’t have been better, 5 minutes from the Ruka Ski Station, making it incredibly convenient. I highly recommend this place without hesitation!

The stay was absolutely amazing. Secluded in pure nature directly at the lake. A great place for a holiday to relax and come down. We were a couple and absolutely enjoyed every part of it, especially the whirlpool, Sauna and all amenities the house has to offer. The hosts had an incredibly quick response to any questions we had during our stay. Thanks for that. The only negative point i could think of is the long list of instructions for using all the facilities of the house (e.g. the hot tub). It takes some time to read all of them and remember everything. But its definitely worth it. So i recommend staying at least 3 night for making full use of everything and enjoying this incredible place. There is also several national parks at 30-45min car drive. So longer stays are definitely also recommendable. We loved it and give this stay a 5/5 stars. Looking forward to come back one day!

The place was amazing. exactly the cozy and comfortable wooden cottage you would expect, when visiting Ruka. Sitting on the edge of a beautiful lake with sauna, fireplace and quiet nature is everything you need for a relaxing week. Joonas provided us with clear instructions how to get to the cabin and from there it was a smooth sail. Only 10 minute drive to ruka center makes it a perfect getaway retreat!

Peaceful surroundings, almost just sounds of nature. Beautifully decorated with good taste, a small compact cottage with everything you need. Also a deck and yard plantations. A log sauna building on the beach, is also the eye, made with skill. Pricey but for a reason.

A superb small chalet with all amenities, the fireplace is very useful for grilling your Finnish sausages and finally the sauna a must 😋 There is a small problem with the automatic lock but we were notified in advance and we were able to collect the keys. The owners were very responsive in every way. I would recommend.

Beautiful cottage in a quiet location in the middle of nature. We got really clear and good instructions on how to get there and how to use the cottage. Would love to come back here again!

A cottage that matches the description. Peaceful location and neighbors. Beautiful decor and suitable for a family with children. Communicating seamlessly. Plus blackout curtains in bedrooms. We found everything we needed to cook in the kitchen.

My family and I were on an Easter holiday in Kuusamo. We stayed at Suvi's cottage that provided a great setting for calming down. Messaging with Suvi was flexible and quick. The cottage was clean and tidy, it was nice to get there. Grilling in a home, as well as a lakeside sauna and an opening at the end of the day, crowned the holiday.

Great place for those looking for some privacy! It's easy to take day trips to the beautiful natural sites in the surroundings and relaxing steam from the sauna in the evenings ❤️ Sanna was a great and considerate host. Communication and response was quick :)

Very nice and nice place. The only thing is that the beach could have been a little deeper so it wouldn't be so far to wade for a swim.

The house from Anne was one of the best I know in Finnland till now. Best Chance to recharge your battery’s. :)

My family and I spent 5 nights at Krister's cottage and had a great time. The cottage is in a quiet location, cozy and well-equipped. The instructions were clear and Krister soon responded to inquiries. We'll definitely be back.

What a place to stay! If you are planning to visit Riisitunturi like us, do not even hesitate one second. The fireplace outside was perfect for our outdoor lunches, the sauna, with a hot water boiler, and the hut was simply so cozy and accommodating. Very much recommend it!!! Thank you Lea also for being so available on the phone when we needed you!

A spacious cottage in beautiful surroundings, the lake landscape overlooking the windows of the cottage and sauna captured the eye. The cottage is a great choice for relaxation and relaxation, and is located within a convenient drive of Kuusamo's services if you need them. The other cottage in the same yard didn't bother you, as there were no other guests during our visit.

We stayed during the winter holiday week. Peaceful location near the main road and on the Skibus route. The trail is about 500m on foot along the road. Plenty of room to store your gear. Very clean apartment and very helpful host!

The accommodation was stylish and clean. The elevator tickets included in the stay were a plus. Walking distance from the village of Ruka.

Great location, views of the forest and partly to the lake. Ski-in/ski-out. Everything in the cottage is working as expected. The small drawbacks are the small size of the sauna and the lack of firewood in the cottage (need to be provided).
