Pölökkylä - A wilderness cabin on the shore of a lake

Located on the shores of a beautiful and clean lake, this log cabin is perfect for those who love nature and want to spend their vacation relaxing without any neighbors. There's a boat on the beach of the cottage. The cottage and sauna are heated with wood. The fridge and stove run on gas. Domestic water is carried from the lake and the water is heated in the water tank of the sauna stove. Electricity is provided by solar panels. There is an outdoor toilet in the yard. During the winter season, solar panels are not in use.

A newer spacious house where children also enjoy themselves. The house is in its own peace in the middle of nature. An atmospheric sauna and in the backyard you can go swimming in the marsh pond. The backyard has a great view, and in winter you can also see the northern lights. From the yard you can jog on forest trails, and in winter you can ski and snowmobile. A warm-hearted cottage on the shores of Lake Kitkajärvi with all the comforts. The tap water is clean spring water. Wood-heated sauna. Private beach (80 m from the cottage) with an electric outboard motor equipped with a rowing boat. Hot tub, sheets and towels as agreed (extra charge). Snowshoes and children's sleds are allowed. Nearby: e.g. Ruka ski resort 19 km from the cottage (about 20 min drive), Riisitunturi National Park 18 km (about 15 min drive), also Valtavaara, Konttainen, Karhunkierros nearby.

An atmospheric and very peaceful cottage in Kuusamo. The cottage is located on a narrow peninsula, on the shore of a sandy and clear-watered lake. The beach is also very suitable for children to swim. Good recreational opportunities in the area, skiing, snowshoeing, winter fishing and snowmobiling in winter (transfer route to the official snowmobile route). Good fishing opportunities, located in the Muojärvi-Kuusamojärvi water area, water connection to the center of Kuusamo and the eastern border.

During the summer an attic room with a double bed is also in use. Use of a rowing boat, an Indian canoe and 2 stand-up paddleboards & use of the grillhut & firewood are included in the rent.
