We had a wonderful stay at this Haveli, and the experience was nothing short of royal. Girija aunty and Ganpat uncle were by far the best hosts I've come across on Airbnb. They were extremely accommodating and ensured that we felt at home. Highly recommended for anyone who is planning a trip to Udaipur!

We loved everything about Rosie’s Retreat! What distinguishes Rosie’s from the countless other guesthouses in the old city is the true home stay feel. The downstairs courtyard and upstairs rooftop are awesome and the overall ‘vibe’ of the space is immaculate. But more than anything, people make a place feel like home—and the people at Rosie’s are truly special. From Veni the housekeeper to Veerendra the manager, everyone we interacted was lovely. Special shoutout to Rosie’s neighbor Jogi! If you stay at Rosie’s find him for a tour of the city on his Rickshaw. He has a lovely family (including an adorable German Shepard) and was a huge part of making our stay feel like a true home stay. Frankly, I was surprised to see a few negative reviews about this place. Seems totally unfounded to me—everything from the location, to the service, to the space itself is perfect. One of our best Airbnb experiences ever.
