Vihaar by lagom stay duplex 2 bedroom cottage

KeerthanaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
I had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb! The rooms beautifully reflect the charm of traditional Himachali homes, with authentic furniture, home decor, and a cozy vibe throughout. The kitchen was well-equipped with plenty of utensils and cutlery, making it easy to cook and serve meals. The room we stayed in was fantastic, it had balconies on three sides, offering great views and fresh air. We especially loved the outdoor space, which was perfect for relaxing with family and friends. The garden outside, filled with plants and vibrant flower pots, was incredibly well-maintained and added to the beauty of the place. A big thank you to Mr. Gandharv, who was so friendly and helpful throughout our stay, guiding us with the check-in process and recommending local shops and places to explore. Overall, it was a memorable and enjoyable experience, I would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting the area!

Krishna's Traditional Homestay

VijayRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Krishna's home, family and the village is a fine example of Himachal hill homes, people and culture. Loves their hospitality, friendly nature and the simple authentic home cooked food. Walking around the village you get a good sense of his they live in synch with nature, how over millennia adapted to the environment around them. The vernacular architectural homes(kathkuni) are all around the village for one to appreciate the simplicity and the majesty of these structures. Of course the snow clad mountains all around and the hiking opportunities. Lastly but not the least the friendliness of Krishna (she is an accomplished certified outdoorswoman too) is heartwarming. Learnt a lot from her about the culture, nature and the way of Himachali living. I am sure I will visiting many times in the future. (Btw loved going to pluck cherries in their farm with her mother)

Hunzuru 5 Bedroom Wabi Sabi Villa near Manali

John PaulRating, 5 stars3 months ago
What a place. What a team. If you have the chance to stay here, then STAY HERE!! The home sits at the top of a village overlooking the value with amazing views. It is peaceful and away from tourists. You will feel like you are off the grid and away from everything else. The home is brand new. We were lucky enough to see snow for 2 days making the scenery even more spectacular. We even saw monkeys come down from the trees after it started snowing. The team are absolute kings. The food (breakfast, lunch and dinner) was the best we had in India. The chef’s attention to detail is second to no one we’ve seen. Make sure you have a BBQ outside with a bon fire. The staff are always checking to see if you need something and making sure that everything is going well with regular check ups through the day and evening. The owner provided some amazing tips and support for the surrounding areas and even drove us down the mountain to see Manali. Would recommend everyone stays here. Awesome.

Urban Monk-7 Bedroom Cottage & Highest Cafe Manali

NicoleRating, 5 stars1 month ago
The place was lovely- perfect for our family reunion! Clean, comfortable with lots of small details like games, water in the rooms as well as comfortable lounge chairs, patios overlooking the valley. The breakfasts were excellent with very generous portions and the staff very friendly and helpful. The cafe was close by and the food was excellent. The water gets very hot so recommend turning off when not using for easier temperature control. The driveway is steep like all the other hotels in the area but the view is worth it. Easy to connect to the lamadugh trek from the cafe and close to the park and wildlife sanctuary. Easy walk to old manali also. Thanks for a great stay!
A charming cottage set against a backdrop of majestic mountains, surrounded by lush greenery. The blue roof complements the vibrant landscape, while the distant village and rolling hills enhance the serene atmosphere. The sky is clear with dynamic cloud formations adding depth to the scene.

Honey moon cottage, stone/wood/mud greatest view

NickRating, 5 stars4 days ago
This cottage really is as beautiful as it looks in the pictures. It’s set in a serene mountain village with absolutely breathtaking views that are ever changing. You can sit on the decking and gaze at the mountains for hours. I spent a happy 3 weeks here whilst working in Kullu, which is about 45 minutes away by bike. The road to the village is rural, so expect a bumpy kilometre or so from the main Jana waterfall road, but it’s so worth it. Klaus went above and behind from start to finish to make sure I had all of the information I needed, and has local guys helping him with the logistics of making sure you have what you need. He invited me over for chai and also let me enjoy the place privately to my hearts content. You simply must book this place if you’re in the area and want to explore Kullu, Kasol, Manali, Naggar, the river - it’s all right there. I hired a bike from Shukti autos in the local village Naggar which was perfect. Thanks so much for a wonderful stay.

Sahasrara Mud House -1: Peaceful Stay by Homeyhuts

HemantRating, 5 stars1 day ago
Homeyhuts, Manali was nothing short of magical. So beautiful, so serene — we already miss it deeply. But what truly made the experience unforgettable were the hosts. Such a kind, warm-hearted couple — we developed such a familial relationship with them. They helped us rent a bike, made sure we had everything we needed, and offered delicious homemade food that was fresh, hot, and extremely economical. What they said was food for two could easily feed more — we even stored some in the fridge for later. The aadu achaar (peach pickle) and mirch achaar were so flavorful and unique — we’re still thinking about them! We also had the freedom to cook our own meals, which made it feel like home. And we must mention the main character of the property — their dog Dexter! A huge German Shepherd mix, Dexter was the sweetest and most gentle giant. He took care of olive like a baby sister. A special mention to Krishna Didi and Mukesh, the kind helpers who made our stay even more comfortableā¤ļøšŸ’•šŸ˜

Shunya Stays - A Wooden Chalet in Uch Dhar

RaghavRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We had a truly memorable stay at this Airbnb! The property is absolutely stunning – nestled in the hills with a view that’s straight out of a postcard. The hospitality here deserves a special mention – our host was attentive, and incredibly helpful throughout our stay. We especially appreciated the assistance with our luggage, which made our arrival a lot smoother. That being said, one thing to note for future guests is that the hike to the property is not as easy as we had expected. We were informed it would be a 20-minute easy walk, but in reality, it’s quite a steep and challenging climb – not unmanageable, but definitely something to be aware of when packing and planning your arrival. A clearer heads-up about the terrain would have helped us prepare better. As the property is quite remote, there aren’t nearby options for dining or groceries, so we relied entirely on the meals provided by the host. While the food was home-style and tasty, we did find the variety a bit limited.

Tra -A Boutique Cottage Stay amidst Apple Orchards

YamanRating, 5 stars12 months ago
It was a quaint cottage nestled in the midst of an expansive apple orchard with breathtaking views of the mountains from each of the bedrooms. A little gem of a place which calms your senses and provides the perfect hideaway away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The place was tastefully done and Kanupriya is a great host who is extremely responsive and helpful with a great eye for aesthetics. The location is a pure delight resting midway between Manali and Naggar providing easy access to the eateries and other joints at the same time offering the privacy you so always crave for. All in all a must visit for thirsty souls who want the noise of the silence to surround them waking up to natural sunlight seeping through the windows and the chirping of the birds.

The property is at a very offbeat and beautiful location , apt for solitude and peace and to immerse yourself into the nature. The cabin is on top of a hill, the host is very considered and will help you reach property on his car . From parking its a bit of uphill kinda trek not suitable for older people or very small kids but otherwise the location is great and specially the host is very nice and will help you in every step.
A cozy living area is furnished with two armchairs and a spacious sofa, complemented by a colorful area rug. Natural light filters through large glass doors, revealing scenic views from the balcony. The room features light-colored walls and decorative curtains.

The house is suited for a comfortable long term stay. It's inside a society and highly accessible and safe for the elderly and children. It is very well furnished and equipped. You can buy supplies from the shops next to the society gate and cook yourself or hire a cook from within the society. You can also order food in from Kullu. Praveen was highly responsive and understanding. He communicated his expectations upfront and happily accommodated requests when reasonable. I would love to stay here again for a long time period.

Om homestay

DustinRating, 5 stars7 months ago
Our stay was the highlight of our travels through Himachal Pradesh. This is a hidden gem in the mountains. It takes a little while to hike up, about 1 hour for able bodied persons, but it is so worth it. The place is totally secluded high on the mountain, so beautiful, peaceful, and has a world class view. Om Prakash ji and Asha ji were wonderful and very attentive hosts. They cooked for us on our last night there and it was delicious. Om Prakash took us to the summit of Labhri top. He spent the whole day hiking with us and packed us a lunch of parathas and chai. It cost extra (1,500 Rs), but highly recommend it for those who like hiking and lead an active lifestyle. Pretty strenuous hike at times, but the view from the top makes it all worth it. The journey is quite beautiful too. All in all the place, our hosts - Om Prakash and Asha, and our time there was completely charming. We really hope to return soon.
