Genuine Smålandsstuga near Lake Bolmen

Östergård is a house with history where you live comfortably but with old-fashioned charm. Lake Bolmen is a few hundred meters from the farm and within walking distance you reach lovely beaches or the boat that you can borrow if you want to go out and try your luck at fishing. The house has a spacious garden with outdoor furniture and barbecue. On the ground floor there is a kitchen and dining area, a large living room, a smaller room and a lovely porch. On the upper floor there are both bedrooms with four beds, bathroom and toilet.

Welcome to Åkhult and our little house on our farm, 18 meters from our house. When you look out the window or door you see Lake Violet. This lake is a spring lake with very clear water. Here you can both swim and fish. Around the lake there is a small road of eight kilometres. There are many people walking, running or cycling here. Having enjoyed my first season as an airbnb-host with sooo nice guests I now really look forward to the season 2023! My newly renovated cottage is across the courtyard to my house. Your main entrance is facing mine, but outside the backdoor you´ll find all the space you need to be on your own – with a view just to the farmer´s land and the lake. Nice beaches on convenient distance and within a radius of 10 km you will find the Åsnen National Park, cosy cafés, farmers shops and much more.

On a peninsula of the well-known Lake Helga in Småland, with a rich stock of fish, forests, animals, we rent a lake house right by the lake. Horses and sheep graze on the property, which was once owned by Gustav Vasa. Dogs (max. 2) are welcome at a cost of €12 per dog/night. A boat (7.5hp engine) can be hired for €350/week including fuel.
