Cottage vacation rentals in Kronoberg County

We felt very comfortable at Pascale and Steve's place. The conversation with Steve at the beginning and end of our trip was very fun. If we are back in the area and need a cottage, this will be our first choice. We can recommend the place without hesitation and 100%.

Everything as described. The house is nice big and spacious, the decor is a little clear but sufficient. The property is secluded in the middle of the forest or field and is very idyllic and quiet. We enjoyed spending the summer vacation there very much.

We had a lovely stay in Solgården! The house is nicely furnished, making you feel right at home. In addition, it is surrounded by forest and you will unwind all the way here. In the garden there are a lot of children's appliances, which our son had a wonderful time with. There is a swing, slide, trampoline, sandpit, and there are lots of toys. Also there is a hot tub, where you can relax in. Highly recommended as far as we are concerned if you are looking for peace, nature but also like to look for entertainment for your children. Stefanie is a very nice host, who responds quickly to your questions and likes to think in terms of solutions! Greetings from the Dammers family!

We wanted peace and quiet in the middle of nature and got what we wanted! Wonderful location with a lake view but still not far from Tingsryd where you can buy most things at phenomenal Börjes :) The house has all sorts of amenities both inside and outside so we could cozy up, barbecue, play board games and just swim the sauna and hot tub, even under the stars! Pascale and Steve kindly explained how everything worked and gave tips about both one and the other. The excursions to Åsnen, the car cemetery in Ryd and Stenfors use were very much appreciated by our small children (4 and 10 years old). That we got to see moose, deer, fallow deer, hare and cranes was a plus :) We are more than happy to return!

Very nicely furnished and cozy house. It was all as described and we felt very comfortable. Since we traveled with more people than planned at short notice, it was a bit small for us. I can only recommend the number of people indicated for the summer. At the lake, our (adult) children caught fish and saw two moose. Great area. I'd love to come back

We had an amazing time in Sofias hut in Ramnasa. The place itself is gorgeous and we felt like home from the very first second. Sofia is an extraordinary host and we can recommend her hut to everyone. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (6/5)

We visited Skälsnäs Gård for Easter with our two children of 1 and 4, and we had a great time. We haven't lived in a house with so much soul before, and we felt so comfortable. It's the perfect getaway for kids who love to play, both inside and out. The nature is very beautiful and the surroundings were quiet and idyllic. The house is older, but the kitchen and bathroom are equipped with modern amenities, and it was easy to cook for the family. Vaxjo is the main town nearby and it takes about 30 min by car. Cozy town with good bakeries and cafes. Since there are no shopping opportunities close by, we recommend making a meal plan so you don't have to shop every day. There is a water park (Actic) that our kids loved and we visited twice. The place is easy to find and the host was super friendly, welcoming, and helpful. We will definitely come back.

Cozy little cottage in very beautiful location! Luxury with accommodation right on the beach! Enjoy your host! We are used to the incineration toilet but it went well (even got used to the smell from the chimney). Thank you! (Maybe it was because the wind was “on the wrong side” but when we were outside we heard the faintly big road noise, which took the feeling of peace something.)

Nice little house which is very quiet. Paddle boat and rowboat were accessible at all times! Bicycles were also available! The owners are very nice and helpful and have their own summer house right in front of the cottage!

We really enjoyed our stay. Located in the middle of the woods next to a beautiful lake. The cows came and greeted us in the morning while we were having breakfast. The house was decorated nicely and very authentic Swedish. Some furniture was a bit dilapidated, and there could be more usable light, but it also added to the charm. Would definitely recommend the place.

It's our second visit with Ingrid, we were there in late October 2024 and we felt so much at home that when we had to find a destination of 3 nights for our little Easter holiday, it was an easy choice. We've had some wonderful days and Ingrid is very hospitable and had decorated for Easter.

Nice and tidy house. Good beds. Well-equipped kitchen, large dining area, both inside and out, extra plus for a large and nice gas grill! In addition, it feels wonderfully welcoming when you are offered a few jars of homemade marmalade! We had a wonderful paddling weekend in Åsnen!

Amazingly beautiful place. Absolutely undisturbed and really nice view. Nice and functional house. We had some lovely days with rotations in the boat and bonfires. The hosts were very helpful, service reminded, and easy to communicate with. A great recommendation from here.

We had an absolutely amazing stay where coziness was the key word - and we got for all the money! Annali and Daniel have an absolutely amazing house, with a lovely view.

We had a lovely extended weekend at the house in amazing cejr. Enjoyed the large terrace overlooking the lake and also cooked over an open fire in the fireplace. Lovely place.

great experience! The cottage is fabulous as described and is in a very picturesque area. Anders was really helpful and responded immediately to our needs. He was very flexible for both check-in and check-out, both carried out independently. Too bad we only stayed one night!

We spent a week in the house lovingly decorated by Britt and immediately felt comfortable. The little details were charming and really felt like the real Bullerbü. Exactly what we were looking for and hoping for. We were allowed to use the herb garden and harvest what we needed and cooked delicious applesauce from the windfalls. The upper area was also lovingly designed and had a lot to offer for the children: books and stories by Astrid Lindgren, pens for painting, games and there was even a guitar and an old record player. The sauna could be used and warmed us up well. Don't worry about the cold in autumn and winter, the 3 tiled stoves heat the house up to the upper floor if they are well fired. We were well supplied with wood from the barn. Rowboat and island were easy to find with the help of the map and instructions. We had a great time! 🫶🇸🇪

Great place far in the woods, with the nicest view of the lake. Beautiful little cozy house. We had a really nice weekend with lots of sun and fishing, cooked on a fire and enjoyed the last summer heat.. could easily come back another time.. really nice and helpful hosts..😊👌🏻
