Great location with cross-country ski trails in the immediate vicinity in all directions. Good sun conditions and scenic surroundings, with beautiful hiking terrain all year round. Two bedrooms with 180 cm beds. Spacious bathroom with shower and incineration toilet. Practical solution with water tank and water heater and pump with direct water supply to shower and sink in the bathroom, as well as sink in the kitchen.

Evening and Sunday open grocery store Mesnali 3 min. Bed linen and towels can be rented and must be pre-booked - price NOK 250/£20/€25 per set. Feel free to bring your own. A great starting point for skiing & mountain trails

This cabin is a great starting point for hiking in the mountains. It is located 900 meters above sea level. Walk straight out into mountain trails or unique ski slopes. Or just relax on the terrace or in front of the fireplace. It is 250 meters until you are on mountain trails, and 100 meters to the ski slope. The store is 1.8 km away in summer and 3.4 km in winter. The cabin has fantastic views and sun all day with a magnificent sunset. There is also a private ski storage for those who want to wax skis. There are 8 beds and a baby bed.

The old summer barn of Hovelsrud Gård is idyllically located between Mjøsa and a rolling grain field – a simple and unique place for those who want to get close to nature and enjoy the tranquility of Helgøya. The ski jumping hill is 3-minute drive from the cabin and offers a great view. 5-min drive to grocery store. For alpine skiing, Hafjell is 25 min away, and Kvitfjell is about 1 hour.
