Welcome to our “bakhuisje”: a national monument from +- 1700. The house is cozy and comfortable; living downstairs, bed is upstairs on the mezzanine. It has a cozy electric fireplace and a comfy couch. The bathroom has everything needed. Kitchenette (without cooking) with small fridge + coffee/tea and a beautiful view (vegetable garden, greenhouse, fruit trees). Of course WiFi and a workplace. This is a very quirky property in a unique location. It has been very well renovated and it was great to see the renovation process in the photo book. The property has a very spacious open plan kitchen / diner / lounge. Three bedrooms are a real bonus. You do have to watch your head in the two upstairs rooms but we didn't find this a problem. We loved being able to sit out on the veranda. We thought the Nuki smart lock on the front door was brilliant! The house is very close to Gouda which has all the amenities you need. We caught the train from there to Rotterdam which takes about 20 mins. We also visited the gardens at Keukenhof which are approx 45 mins away. The Kinderdijk windmills (UNESCO world heritage site) are also well worth a visit. The only negative was the mosquitoes! Understandable given the waterside location but definitely take insect repellent!

It is very comfortable and clean acomodation for 2 people. Also if they want to sleep separately. There it is one double bad and comfort sofa what can by extend for bigbad. Owner are very friendly and helpful. They offer to me one bike for free. Kitchen is equipped ritch for bacis cooking!

We've had a great stay at Aafje's accomodation. The cozy tiny house is placed in a beautiful rural area, in the garden of our host. We really enjoyed the privacy and the nature, with Lots of animals around us. A sweet bonus were the two cats of our host, which stayed with us, during our stay. All in all it was great and uncomplicated stay, without any problems. If you want to slow down, enjoy nature and free your head from work, this is the perfect place for you. Greetings Marie & Nils

Groot-ammers is a lovely village. The locals are very friendly and seemed very happy to humour me while I made some basic attempts at speaking Dutch. We arrived without any food and after the shops had closed so Rien very kindly provided us with some eggs from his chickens and some milk so that we could have a cup of tea. There wasn't any litter to be seen anywhere in the village or the surrounding countryside. The boat house where we stayed at the side of a canal was very peaceful. Only the sound of water foul and sheep. It was lovely to see their apple trees in blossom and the bowl of flowers they put on the outside table had a lovely scent. It was great to see the windmills and the more rural side of the Netherlands. Thank you Rien and Jeanette for letting us stay at your place and for being so friendly and accommodating. We had a lovely time.

Close to Rotterdam but immersed in the landscape of the Dutch countryside, William's hayloft is charming, very clean, comfortable. It also had a beautiful outdoor space available to guests. We thank William and his family for their availability. We will keep it in mind for a future stay in the Netherlands.

Minke was an amazing host! She was super friendly, helpful, and quick to respond. The location was amazing — absolutely gorgeous and serene, having the view of the farm. Perfect for a relaxing and peaceful weekend away. If you are looking to get out of the hustle and bustle of the city life then Minke’s Tiny house is the place to be! It is a great location, and is within walking distance of restaurants and shops — we were also very lucky with the weather and got to enjoy a lot of the sun on the porch. My partner and I can’t wait to go back someday!
